On friday my family had an argument. After resolving it, someone was taking out the laundry from the dryer, to find one of our cats had crawled into it.... That should be enough of a description for you.

My dog got pancreatitis after having something strike/bite him in the leg while he was exploring our forests.

I spent the next two days by his side trying to get him to eat and drink.

He died the next day after we took him to the vet........
I found him dead on the kitchen table without being told :'(

I'm pretty sure that fits under morbid.

I saw my dog get run over by a car, it was actually some ***** who hated dogs and also happened to drive an SUV, i saw it right in front of my eyes. He shit and pissed all over himself, his back broken, he lifted up his head and looked at me, then died.

My friends cat hung itself. While they were at work it jumped from the kitchen bench or something, and its collar got caught on the door handle. Well the kids aged 9-14 came home to find their kitten hanging like a punching bag.

It died peacefully, but we used to have a severely depressed, suicidal canary. It once almost cooked itself alive in the oven, just as my mother closed the door. I shit you not.

Anyways, sorry about your dog. I'd love to have a dog, but my one main fear is that it would die before I did. I would hate that.

My family's beloved dog died of pancreatitis on January 14 of last year. He had been sick for two days, throwing up and hardly able to walk. I stayed home from school for those two days in order to look after him before we had to put him down.

The thing that was ususual was that two other dogs in our neighbourhood died of the same thing within two weeks.

That's horrible! I'm so sorry...read my post about a suicidal snake above to take your mind off it. I'm going to be so sad when it's my puppies' time...
That just makes me more saddened because I count reptilians as the highest form of life.

Just love your dog everyday. You never know when something unexpected will happen and lose him/her....

Well, my dad had a cat which went for a spin in a washing machine and came out looking shaken, though otherwise fine.

That's the most distressing thing I know in relation to pets, really.

My family foster cares for dogs of all sorts, while also having 2 dogs of our own and a guinea pig. One day I went down to the basement to find my guinea pig laying limp on the steps, dead. Our foster dog had broken into his cage, broken its neck, and left it on the steps.

I'm just glad my 8 year old brother didn't find the body first.

My dog died of a stroke in 2006. He was running around playing in the morning, then around noon, plop. We got him to the vet and he died shortly after. The real kick in the nads was it happened on the day after Christmas.

I had a suicidal beta fish... (His name was Vista... 'cause he was a beta... get it??) every chance he got he'd try to wiggle under the stones at the bottom of his bowl. He lasted for two years though... good run for a fish.

As an aside, I have a 2-year old red tailed boa... she's got about 24-30 years left before I start worrying about her.

love...

I had a small army of Frogs most of them died of assorted reasons (none due to neglect) till I only had three left. By now they where all grownup. Sometime later I came home from school and discovered my converted aquarium swarming with hundreds of ants. I only managed to only save one Frog (Froggey). Then the unprovoked ant attack was met with my genocidal rampage. I tracked down there nest and proceeded to bleach the living hell out of it and all other nests I found in my backyard.

Artiest Rendition of my victory over the ant menace.
