I went out and purchased Mortal Kombat randomly on Friday. It's the first fighting game I own, and I greatly enjoy it. Some parts are rage inducing, but it's good fun for the rest.

Well I'm in Australia and there's really no way to obtain it other than torrenting the 360 version and going through all that crap. It's banned here, and can warrant a fine of up to $110,000 depending on how many copies you're trying to "smuggle" into the country...

It's a must buy for fighting game fans. The Story mode is awesome, ignore what ign says, the fighting is fast and fluid. There are millions of thing to unlock so you can say it has a lot of Kontent. Johnny Cage is awesome...um...it has boobs..that's a plus. The gore is great and yeah that's about it. A few complaints are that online is still a bit laggy and some characters online are cheap. Scorpion and Smoke really piss me off. Oh and online, people like to play dirty, i/e spam a move. It sucks but it happens. All in all, it's a great great buy.
