I'd say Morrowind if it didn't give me that "MORROWIND GOT A PROBLUM ND ITS GOTTA CLOSE" crap every five seconds. I can play that for days.
Well, until it closes itself. Then I get angry.

No game has ever pulled me in as well or for as long as Dragon Age: Origins.

I played through it, all DLC except for Leliana's Song (which I finally got the other day) and Darkspawn Chronicles two times in a row. I haven't stuck by a game for that long ever.

Then I jumped into Dragon Age 2 and was underwhelmed, even though I did enjoy it.

MINECRAFT! the most addictive game. when i first got it i was playing for 5 hours non stop.

On the PC, the Total War series most definitely suffers from "Just one more turn" syndrome.

On consoles, I love the Fallout games. I just get lost in time exploring the wasteland.

I've gone into marathon mode for many games but the series that sucks time like no other is disciples. It blends a high fantasy universe (I love high fantasy stuff so there's addiction point #1) and the tried and tested formula for addiction - turn based strategy gameplay. It's like heroin for me.

Alpha Centauri is even worse in its addictiveness, but truly butt-ugly...

I tried to play Alpha Centuari, but I just couldn't get past it's look.

I don't get where all the hate for Alpha Centauri graphics came from, it looks just fine to me.

I think the Aesthetics have held up perfectly well.

I couldn't get into it myself, but that's just because I was no good at it.

OT: The most addictive games I can think of right now are Mass Effect 2 and more recently, L.A. Noire. I literally spent all of the free-time I could playing both of those until I finished them, they were just so good that I didn't want to do anything else.

Let me be perfectly clear: the game is amazing, but it looks like my bathroom after a night of heavy drinking. I'd happily pay $100 for a remake, just as long as it comes in colors other than blood red, placenta purple, vomit brown, and what-the-hell-did-I-eat green excrement. Normally I'm not at all picky about graphics, but even I have limits...

It works with the Steam version! And it looks a hell of a lot better than the original Alpha Centauri.

I never really get addicted to games but I find the series that I keep coming back to is the Civilization series. Civ 4 is pretty much the one game I keep installed on any computer I own at all times.

I Love this person! Yes, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, had over 90 hours played on it, god damn that was addicting.

Also, a nasty little game (probably mentioned to death so far) called Oblivion, I loved it so much. I never did play Morrowind though..
