The Game that you felt you were going to get some seriously bad karma for playing.
Hearts of Iron II gets my vote. Though it has graphics that would have seemed out dated ten years ago, let us just consider for a second that this is a game that:-
Let's you take control of Nazi Germany
Let's you fight WWII as Nazi Germany
Let's you win WWII as Nazi Germany
and let's you take immense pleasure in doing so.
I can never forget the reaction of my quarter Jewish friend when I mentioned this game to him.

Wow, that game is very amoral. I've never actually played a game that was so amoral as that.

Although it's actually a censored version of Nazi Germany, as most of their more outstanding atrocities are absent from the game. (Since if they weren't they wouldn't be able to sell it in Germany, and that's quite a big market. Stalin's purges and the Rape of Nanking are all present and correct if you're playing the Soviet Union or Japan, because Paradox don't care about sales in Russia or Japan)

War simulation games do usually let you play as either side. Hardly makes it amoral, considering the focus is on the warfare, not ideologies.

The Sims.

Just consider all those poor virtual lives extinguished by their masters need to build every house of wood and wooden items, filled with fireplaces and having a significant lack of toilets or beds...

[prototype]
You wake up in a morg with amnesia and discover last night you somehow become the ultimate super-weapon with the ability to kill anything. You do not like what you have become and so you decide to kill everybody involved.

The 3 main factions in the game are:
The infected; twisted zombie people who like to kill humans.
The military; twisted human people who try to kill zombies but quickly discover that one 'hunter' infected is overpowered enough to kill 5 tanks with 6 punches.
And you; an angry man who wants to kill both of the above.

There is no moral choice system in [prototype] although it would have been easy to stick one in; military = good, zombie = evil, right? wrong.
I call this game immoral because you do not get to choose who or why you kill, you get missions and events all of which consist of: "Go over there and kill who we tell you to"

Kill the zombies because they want to kill you.
Kill the army because they want to kill you too.
Kill random people who know about what happened before and why you became a killer, as asking them isn't a supplied option.
Kill and eat the civilians because you need to gain health whilst trying not to be killed by the above.

In the end, you don't kill 'enemies' in [prototype] you kill stuff; vehicles, civilians, infected, mad women, big infected, buildings and squirrels.
Doesn't matter which one you kill, and you certaintly don't care - just go where the game orders you to go, kill who it asks you to kill and before you can say Himmler you've forgotten the difference between people and med-kits.

The most amoral game I've ever played has to be Condemned: Criminal Origins.

As you start off the game and start killing street thugs you justify it as nessercary since they're violent criminals and you're defending yourself, sounds fair enough, right?

As your hunt for SKX goes on and your body count rises and you begin to see things and have 'breaks' in reality you begin to wonder if maybe you're becoming like the maniacs you've spent the last couple of hours ruthlessly eliminating? Now what you're doing is morally questionable, half of the fights are caused by you walking right into abandoned buildings with a flashlight in one hand and a fire axe in the other. You're looking for a fight.

By the end of the game you're no longer a victim or an upstanding policeman defending himself in the line of duty, you're just a psychopath with a grudge, you have become the serial killer.

Or that's how I saw it while I was playing it.

I remember a thread like this awhile ago and the answer was something like:

The most amoral game ever would be were you murder and rape hundreds of children in every hole in their body and then wait until they rot away and then rape all the other holes created by their rotten flesh all the while an asian man in a diaper shouts "YOU A WINNA! HAHAHA! YOU A WINNA! HAHAHA!" while kicking puppies. and thats just the training level.

I can't remember who posted it though.

50 cent, blood on the sand. Kill wave after wave of people, to recover a bling encrusted skull. I hope on some level he is embarassed by it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "RapeLay" yet. I haven't played that one (and never will play it either), the premise is despicable

Prototype was pretty messed up, but more recently I've discovered that BioShock was. The first time I played it, I saved all the little sisters. On my second playthrough, I'm harvesting them. It's pretty awful and I feel bad for it, but I actually found myself getting greedy and seeing all that Adam go up gave me some horrible sense of evil power... I don't know, maybe I'm just messed up.

If my hunch is correct, you might play as the Big Bad in Modern Warfare 2. You notice in the Russian Airport clips there are no good guys?

How about Postal? Or Manhunt? Normal, sane people don't play games which can be exactly qualified as "murder simulators",because this is what they are. I don't really see entertainment value in pissing on random pedestrians,or in garotte wire decapitation and baseball bat cranial explosion. Well,i guess i'm just less of a deranged sadistic psychopath than most people.

My vote goes to RapeLay as well. That game is twisted and crazy to the point of hilarity.
Hearts of Iron isn't really that bad. It has very little ideology involved (only for diplomacy and politics), and you can place the entire game in a different historical setting and it would play out almost the exact same. The developers didn't advocate or suggest anything along the lines of racism, and it's focus is on the warfare, not slaughter of civillians.

On top of that there are fictional races that have done a lot worse, the only people i can think of right now are chaos space marines, some of who hypnotise every person on a planet of billions to commit a simultaneous ritual suicide

I wouldn't really call any Paradox game amoral. They are basically "just" sand box games. Set a starting date and do as you like. HoI2 does not in any was say that you MUST play as Germany. It just gives you the option.
EU games does not compel you to do anything. Paradox sets great store in giving the player the tools to play as he likes and change history and shape it as he sees fit. I would hardly call that immoral [http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immoral]. It is amoral [http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/amoral] however, in that there is no judgement one way or the other.

And this brings me to a point: OP, you must surely mean immoral as amoral is a bit unclear. Though I may just be a stickler for definitions.
