All achievements in Left 4 Dead are easy if you go about it right, except one. Man vs. Tank, do any finale on easy, when the tank comes, change it to hard, kill the bots, turn it back to easy and molotov it. Untouchables, Death Toll pier, just takes a few tries.

Nothing Special. Also known as Nothing Possible. Go through an entire campaign tanking ZERO damage from ANY special infected, including tanks and witches.

Aside from that, those annoying collection or play this game forever achievements are lame, and seem like cop outs. Like Seriously in Gears of War, or the flag ones in Assassin's Creed. Play our game for hours to get this achievement, so we can pretend it has a bigger fanbase!

This. I nearly threw my controller out of the window. I kept having to slow down and check if he was still in the car.

Also Zombie Genocide in Dead Rising. Kill 56,594 zombies. I'm not even halfway.

These are two giving me a huge kick in the balls: The flags in Assassin's Creed, and Nothing Special from L4D. The flags are possible, just annoying as freaking hell to get. And Nothing Special...FORGET ABOUT IT!! Valve spawned a devil of achievements with that one.

7 Day survivor on Dead Rising

-Takes at least 14 hours on non stop game play to get
-Cannot die
-Cannot save
-Can die of starvation (Health drops in the game and need to ration food and no food respawns)

You pretty much have to live this through until its done.

The ones on spider man WoS, for every acheivment theres another achivement that tells you "your halfway there" thats just a stupid way of handing out free points

There's one on GTA4 where you have to roll your car over 5 times. I thought this was pretty simple but it proved difficult. Then my friend comes over and accidently does it in about 2 minutes. If anyone asks . . . it was all me.

Eternal Sonata's Score Piece colleter is requires a easily missable sidequest on the second playthrough that if missed will require a whole nother playthrough.

Also some Tales of Vesperia's acheviments revovle around missable sidequests.

This one and Neighborhood Watch achievement which involved you to save all buildings outside the missile silo from destruction. A real pain if you're not fast enough, damn those Striders!

I also hate everyone of those achievements which you will have to get eventually. For example, an achievement for doing the 1st level, another one for the second... >.<

Relics of a Forgotten Past in Too Human. Only achievement I don't have for the game and I'm not interested in trying to get it. A ridiculously difficult achievement for a measly amount of points in a shit game.

"Press Start To Begin" in the simpsons game =P

OKay, I've never actively tried to get an achievement in a game so this doesn't apply to me, but...

Yeah, what he said. Although the PS2 didn't have achievements did it? I thought getting 100% was just mindless grinding OCD. Mind you, achievements are just mindless, grinding OCD with pretty pictures as a reward. =P

Edit: Actually, I was touring my brothers Xbox live achievements, and I'm gonna say the one on Rainbow Six Vegas 2 where you have to buy a crappy little webcam thing and import the image of your gurning mug so people can shoot the crap out of it. All for 20 gamer points people! Doooooo it...

"Mile High Club" and "Ultimatum" on Call of Duty 4 are the HARDEST achievements I have ever gotten by far.

I was almost reduced to tears trying to do MHC on veteran. Its just unbelievable, yet the most satisfying 20 points ever earned.

As for "Ultimatum" anyone who has ever tried to do No Fighting in the War Room on Veteran will know that it is one of the hardest levels in an Xbox game.

all those flag collecting ones in Assassins Creed. Do the developers actually expect us to find 500 flags?
Apparently. Sometimes the developers have trouble grasping the fact that we're human beings and we have better things to do than hunt down 500 F***ing flags.

anything along the lines of ''get to the top *** on the worldwide leaderboard''
...for so many reasons...
also, the only example i have of that is Guitar Hero 3, but any ''achievement'' you get for doing something wrong (in this case refusing to duel one of the ''boss'') is just annoying...
see the ''surrender monkey'' badge for genre wars to understand what i mean.
ALSO, i don't know why so many people hated the little rocket man! it was so much fun!

I got three tied ones. Right Hand of God (GH3), Vesperia Master (ToV), and that darned pigeon one in GTAIV. The last two are mostly patience though. There is no way I am getting the Inhuman Achievement or five starring all those songs.
