Most annoying companion in a game?

I hate all companion characters in games with the exception of Sparx, he was done right (at least at first) you didn't have to play as him, he didn't speak, he just took hits and on occasion would slip a head a bit and get a gem for you.
most the retards I "had" to play with in coop games >.< also most of the once from the LEGO games
i think that ***** that is constantly giving you a pep talk in Ridge Racer 7, you know that girl that rides shotgun that was voiced by a screaming 7 year old.

There's a mission in Assassins creed 2 where you have to resue a theive girl that was hit in the leg with an arrow, you have to carry her across the whole map stopping along the way to fight the guards, then you have to use your medicine to stay alive to carry her there while she tells you how slow and stupid you are

The most annoying one I can think of is most definitely Aerie from Baldur's Gate 2.

I haven't played the game in a while, but just thinking about that character annoys me. Good thing that the majority were at least bearable. Though Nalia was also pretty damn annoying.
