My response to cliff racers was an enchanted amulet called Buzzkiller with 100 fire over a 50 yard radius on target. The same amulet I accidentally cast while indoors in Vivic...

I agree, V2's MAKE ME WANT TO SNAP SOMEONES NECK!!! I just had to avoid dirk, and take the gateway camp to the west. I hate it because it was misty, and the aim sucked even more to the nearly invincible V2's. Also, The First Spider Splicer In neptunes bounty, has like 600 health, and when it is like half dead, it escapes... I waste so much ammo...

Naw, the super powerful ghouls, especially at Point Lookout. NO amount of radiation can take the human body and make it THAT impervious to bullets, much less super techy weapons that own every other guy in the game. Coupled with melee makes the game no fun at points if you don't have the ghoul mask.

And any well done all in that Terran can kill you with despite your much better economy, army size, and even positioning.

Unlimited grenade, unlimited spawn count spamming lunatic rain of hell soldiers in the older Call of Duty games on harder levels.

Stop moving for 2 seconds and grenades fly in like rice at a wedding.

Chrysalids from old school X-com. 40 bajillion movement points to mug your guys with in off turns in the dark corners... turning them into another chrysalid... aaaagh!

Metro 2033-Librarians.

You have to keep looking them in the eyes, or they attack you.
But you can't keep looking them in the eyes, because you have a low gas mask filter and have to hurry before you die from poisonous air.
And you can't shoot them because they charge and shred you apart in close combat, not to mention they take a metric ton of ammo to kill.
And you can't run through because they'll attack you anyway.

Did I mention the area is long and hard to navigate?

RAAARRGGGHH!!!!
You serious? They were easy. A good throwing knife between the eyes at close range always worked for me. Just be sure you can get the knife back.
OT: Elites in Reach. Quit doing the Electric Slide so I can shoot you!!!!!

Psychos from Borderlands.

They travel in packs and can take away half of your health in one hit.

And they have an attack where they can throw their club at you from any distance and have dead-on accuracy.
Psychos? just let them get close and headshot them, as for the projectile. quick sidestep, the attackes telegraphed in almost slow motion :p

For me my more annoying enemy would be situational, anything where you're underpowered or your abilities are removed for part of a game and then expected to take on the same guys you've been facing.

Or i was doing legendary on Reach solo and somehow ended up with three zealots behind me 2 hunters and several skirmishers around the corner, one grenade and half a clip of DMR bullets.

That took me a few tries :p

Has anyone ever played star ocean: the last hope? There is a certain boss in the game that cannot be hit by any character unless he is preparing to spawn a whole new group of small and extremely damaging minions! That is horrible. And the bot survivors of Left 4 Dead aren't very helpful when you are on single player, and if you try to play Versus and there are bot survivors... be prepared to see your specially infected bum dead from three lethal pistol shots on the other side of the map.

I have the base game still, so I have no idea what you're talking about...so right now, I still hate Deathclaws.

Gamereon guards(Piggies) from Star wars battlefront 1. They Kinda blended in with the back ground, especially during an epic fight, and then would kill you in one hit.

Anything with a Fuel Rod Cannon in Halo: Reach. I'll also go ahead and say the flying assault base thing in FF13 (took me about half an hour to kill 1 boss).
Could not concur more.
That being said, Grunt heroes in Halo: Reach Gruntapocalypse.
I don't know if you're familiar with the gametype, but the only purpose a Grunt hero's presence serves in the gametype would appear to be ruining multikills by taking two shots to the head to kill.

On Legendary they're actually a pain in the ass.
Not totally inclined to agree.
They're absolute fodder on all difficulties, in every Halo game I've played, but they are just freaking annoying with their plasma grenade spam, constant use of the pistol EMP and their fuel rod cannon spamming.

That said, I also hate bears and cougars in Red Dead Redemption. More predominantly bears because they are more common.
The bloody things sneak up on you in the woods, charge at you unprovoked, one hit your horse, kill you in two hits send you flying ragdoll to the wall whenever they hit you.
And once you get fighting one, suddenly all of its buddies appear within like a minute, and in groups they're able to attack you again before you have the chance to pick yourself up from the first attack. So basically they suck.
Cougars are much the same but faster.

Oh, and a special place on the list? Spies. god damn fucking spies. And I don't care what you say about them being players, they are STILL ENEMIES
But... They were never on your side.

Or those suicide grunts. They're so tiny you can't help but fail to notice one, and that's all it takes...

Even worse is when you sneak up on them, make it within a metre of them and watch them spin around in their panic just before you melee them and reach straight into their pockets.
And you explode instantly.
A PLASMA GRENADE DOESN'T EVEN TAKE THAT TIME TO ARM.

The giant plagued ones from Demon's Souls, sure they aren't that hard, but their large amount of health and massive damage make them hard to fight with my wanderer. Plus the fact that there is almost no room to fight them makes them even harder. The wardens on the other hand are pretty easy and actually that was my favorite level in the game (you know, even though dying was not only possible, it was an inconvenience).

ZUBATS!!!!! ARRRRRGGHGHGHHH!!!

Keese. You know what I am talking about.

Finally, the drones on Halo. I will not force myself to use machine guns you giant bugs!!!!

Grunts on the other hand are probably my favorite enemy other than elites. Why you ask? Well because of the grunt birthday party skull and the fact that they are the most innocent of the aliens. Also they kinda are as bad as elites when it comes to cheapshotting you.

Sniper Jackals in Halo 2 legendary campaign. They are deadly accurate and one shot anywhere in the body from them and you die on the spot, plus the fact that they are very hard to see and hard to kill without having your own sniper, makes them one of the most annoying enemies.

Second most annoying is the ally marines and spartans in Halo Reach legendary campaign, who refuse to shoot your warthogs turret untill the enemy is 1 metre in front of you. Damn it, get some glasses.
