Most Annoying Person You Have Met Online

Though I've met my fair share of annoying 12 year olds, and of course there was one user that was annoying enough for me to use the word "fuck" for the first time, I actually have a funny story about this.

I used to be an Xbox Live troll myself, and I'm sure I would have been the most annoying person met online for some people. I actually met one of these people in real life. I was at a Boy Scout trip, and came to be friends with a few of the guys from another troop. We decided to exchange gamertags, and one of them thought it sounded familiar. Apparently we were in a halo game a few months beforehand, and I was making fun of some kid who wasn't even being that annoying, and he stood up for them. I preceded to tell him to "go suck a donkey cock", I believe, along with a string of other obscenities. He then made it his mission to kick my ass the whole round, which he did quite well. Unfortunately for him, a friend of mine was on my team, and I was able to tell them where I died and the weapon he was using every time he killed me. Hilarity ensued.

Half of X Box Live are complete toss-pots. But it's always fun to listen to them argue amongst themselves. (Especially when 12 year olds get shouted at.)

I started muting voice chat systems since Counter-Strike, I just find it safer to assume everyone is a 12 year old tool who's going to annoy the hell out of me...

A sensible idea. Though it's fun to ask an already irate 12 year old if he's the Angry German Kid when they start ranting.

People in online games don't bother so much because, no matter how bad they are, you can usually kick them and that solves the problem (hopefully). If it is just noise, and not team killing, then simply mute them and hope that they don't have anything important to say.

I find more annoying people online on forums and various websites. Like this one time on newgrounds, I posted a review for a Zelda flash game and made a small comment about how I typically dislike Zelda games. I get a PM from some little douche about how I'm stupid for not liking Zelda and he starts going on about how Naruto is gay. I don't know how the conversation got to that, but he didn't support his retarded arguments and didn't make any actual points. I hate people who start arguments but don't know how to do them properly (i.e. have a point and be able to support it in some fashion). Otherwise, they should keep their damn mouth shut.

worst players I met, were actually 5 brazilian guys, while playing grid on XBL. Since in grid you can use the flag of your country I put mine (Argentina) and when I entered the race, I started hearing all kinds of insults in portuguese directed to me (spanish and portuguese are very similar so I could understand them), we raced the entire tournament (3 touring car races) and they kept insulting me all the time. I won the first two races, which made it worse, and on the third 2 brazilian cars (there was also a guy from USA) started to race backwards looking for me, to total my car, which they did (and the USA guy too) curiously, we made 1st and 2nd at the end anyway.

I get that from a lot of English players (having a Scottish flag above your car makes you a genuine target for ramming into walls apparently) Three of them were playing together once and kept trying to total me into walls. Either that or slamming on the brakes after cutting you off.

Other than that, immediately upon entering a Bad Company match there were three squeaky twelve-year-olds with mics in the match shouting at everything. My first thought was "why aren't these guys on XBoxLive playing Halo 3?"

Don't have gold on my 360 account so dont get to play online usually, however i DID play online during the recent Xtival thingy and had a great time online apart from one kid who spent the entire time singing loudly until i had to tell him to shut up. he seemed genuinely surprised that it was annoying as well.

You know, I once met this kid who was pretty annoying. He must have been 12 or younger, and we were playing COD4 on XBox live. But rather than being a loud, angry, screaming kid, he was actually really polite, but his voice was annoying and he always asked questions.
"Do you like this gun?"
"What's your favourite map?"
"I like this perk. Do you like this perk?"

So he was more like a 'younger brother' kind of annoying. I was thinking about muting him, when some other guy joined the game and flat out told him to 'shut up' be cause he was, as the other guy said 'a little *****'. Now, this other guy was far more annoying, because he was maybe a little older then the first kid, but opposite of everything: Rude, swearing every second word, yelling, etc. Just bad.

So the first kid, we'll call him 'Jake', Started telling the new kid, we'll call him 'Douchy McJerkoff', that he shouldn't swear. Swearing is bad. Well Douchy starts yelling at Jake some more, telling him to shut up with every vulgarity in the book, but Jake never lost his cool, calm demeanor. "Swearing is bad. That's not nice, you know. You're not a nice person. I don't think you have many friends, because you aren't a nice person."

I loved it. I was laughing my head off throughout the whole match.
I purposely kept them both unmuted so I could hear the whole exchange. It was grand.

Its a very good rule because it helps me keep a civil tongue as well as whomever I'm playing against.
It kind of amazes me how quickly people (myself included) revert into uncivilized shit bags when your are completely anonymous.
