I seem to frequently run into 13 year-olds who have 1/3 of their vocabulary reserved for 'douche'

But the worst was this guy in who kept singing opera really loudly into his mic to piss everyone off. weird
Same. I was playing Left 4 Dead and this INCREDIBLY ANNOYING guy kept rapping about everything that was going on (in the game). Amusing at first, but as it dragged on we had no choice but to boot him off, as he was too busy singing about the smoker strangling me than actually HELPING ME WITH IT.

The kids are annoying, but there was this one guy the other night on CoD5 who would just scream at the top of his lungs every time he got a kill, but not before he barked orders at people like a tard. He must have been off his ritalin or something. I wish I had turned down the volume on my headset sooner.

Team killers and team annoyers are the ones I really hate. And people who say "f***" every second word.
There was this guy yesterday on CoD 4. I was sniping in prone, minding my own business when a team member came and went prone face to face with me so I couldn't see. I thought, "WTF?" so I moved. He followed me and did the same thing. So I shot him in the face. He respawned and did the same thing. I shot him again and left the game. GAH! So annoying.

I have met so many, I don't think I can say most of them.

I'll just go for the standard I should wear a top hat and fuck the queen whilst drinking tea.

Probably this kid who follows me around on X-Box Live and Tks me.
But he got banned due to a number of complaints sent by everyone
I have ever known .

Back when I used to play Phantasy Star Online in the actual online mode instead of playing the offline multimode, there was one guy who just kept on turning up and ruining games. I don't remember the name - I think I blocked it from my memory through sheer annoyance - but every time I got teamed with him in Battle Mode I was guaranteed a dose of Megid up the backside, him apparently not understanding the concept of having to actually aim at the enemy instead of spamming spells at whatever happened to drift into his targetting area. And somehow it was MY fault when we kept losing.

I won't even start on what he did to us during Challenge Mode. I don't know how he kept finding me at that. He just seemed to have some kind of bizarre talent to drop in on my games. Eventually I went nana and stopped playing online altogether.

I won't even start on why I stopped playing WoW.

Guy in TF2 (I think he was german) told me that I couldn't put a sentry next to a cp and if I didn't destroy it straight away I'd get kicked from the server. I destroyed it and then the cp got rushed by a soldier and a medic.

They then captured that point instantly.

I told that guy he was the biggest fucking n00b in the world and that just because he had a mic didn't mean he knew anything about how to play the game then I rage-quitted.
If its in the rules you shouldn't blame him..

And anyway you were probably the noob for listening. (No offence)

Some squeaky voiced little kid I met in GoW2 Horde mode in the Security map. As soon as the waves kicked off, instead of hanging back in the security area like the rest of us, he charged out into the central area. Of course it wasn't long before the big icon appeared above his head and he was crying out for a revive. Seeing that we were stuck behind the security lasers there was no way that was going to happen.

This routine was repeated for every single wave. The guy just never learned.

I was in a game of L4D with some mates but we had a random (I forget his name but for the purposes of the topic, we'll call him John Freeman) join our Survivor group and this guy was such a loose cannon. He frequently got himself boomered and seemed to manage to sieze every opportunity to leave us completely overwhelmed by the infected. The worst part was when we had just arrived in one of the "alert the horde" areas. Our good friend was nowhere to be seen as usual and, not surprisingly the message "John Freeman has alerted the Horde" popped up before any plans could be made. Cue a mad dash to get ourselves organised before things all went completely wrong. :)

On TF2 last night I was singled out by a spy (he kept going for me deliberately), my main classes are sniper, engie and heavy so you can tell that after half an hour of his shit I was pretty pissed off. There were no pyros on my team and I'm crap with them.

If you see anyone on Steam named Wilhelm Screamer leave the server. That or mute him, he has the most annoying voice ever. The server admin still will not ban or perma-mute him...

Am I the only one who had an entire server on one guys case? He kept trying to offend everyone by combining racist words (mispelled of course), leading to things like "whitey nijar" and "pasty white asian". The hilarious part was that a drunk man was repeating everything that the guy was typing, and everyone made fun of him. He kept trying to insult us, and we kept laughing at his attempts. I wonder only one thing: was that cruel to do? Oh, by the way, the game was Zombie Panic on Steam.

It was hard to tell whether he was using actual racist words because his spelling was so bad. I still don't know what "nijar" means. The general consensus was that is was ninja mispelled.

Another one was on TF2, where I was scout on Team Fort. I had grabbed the Intel right before another Scout did, and it was pretty funny because he kept hitting me with his bat. After 5 minutes though, it became annoying. After that, he would follow me to his death when I switched to Spy. It stopped being funny when the Admin refused to kick him, and then he switched his name to mine with a period after it. Luckily he was banned.

Onetime my cousin hijacked my Xbox Live account and acted horrifically annoying on Halo 3... although that may not count, but I'm sure it was bad for the players and bad for my rep.

First time I played COD4 online, which was my first real foray into online gaming and I ran into some ASBO ritalin fueled chav... He was effing and blinding the whole match, screaming the whole time. I'd had a tough day at work and really didn't need it. It put me off online shooters for another 6 months. I do now realise that there is a mute function.

More recently I was playing search and destroy and one guy was putting a rocket into us all as soon as we all spawned, killing half the team each time. He was a proper jockey. We ended up tK'ing him first just so we had a chance at finishing the match.

I also once played against a clan using "IRA" tags. i got the impression that they may well have been sympathisers and not just ignorant assholes using the tag without ppreciating what it means. Shame they were crap! Honestly though, if I come into a "server" with anyone with "Nazi" or "kkk" or any other racist or just plain moronic tags I tend to leave. Why give them the pleasure of a game?

People who vote you off the server in L4D so their stupid friends can join. I always make sure to hurl one last torrent of abuse at them before the last vote goes in.

OR

Anyone who uses the Bones or Slash player model in Quake Live.
