Most Awesome Moments in Film

The Star Destroyer's big entrance is still an awe-inspiring moment for me, no matter how many times I see it.

In context the power of the scene is undeniable.
Not my favourite though, but a quite recognisable.

Chemical Burn is my favourite moment in any film ever, so visceral and difficult to watch, but mesmerising. Awesome.

The last time Jake Gyllenhall went in the Source Code. I don't want to ruin it, but it is really moving. Forget "Sucker Punch", spend your $7.50-$10.00 (or your countries equivalent currence) on this movie.

That movie is awesome, and Toshiro Mifune was a badass in that film

In Lord of the Rings, Return of the King when they light the beacons. That moment always floors me as, one by one, the beacons light. It is glorious.

Ahh shit I was pumped to say this, scrolled through all the comments.....FUCK. Ayways, good call man.

Now I have to go with The Ride of the Rohirrum. Theoden's short but epic speech, the charge, the perfect timing of the rohan music, the realisation that hey, they might just pull this shit off. Gives me chills. (Still not as epic as the beacons though)

The Man with the Golden Gun when James Bond jumps his car over the river. Even with the slide whistle it's still amazing.

I think right up there with that RoboCop scene is in the second movie when they are reviewing the failed RoboCop prototypes. So hilarious.

The death of Sgt.Ellis's death at the mid-point of Platoon .

The scene in 'Serenity' where, as the Serenity is heading for the planet surface, the Operative is all smug and cocky thinking he's about to destroy Mal and his crew, then the Reaver fleet bursts through the ion cloud as well.

- Dash's chase scene through the jungle from The Incredibles. That whole movie was stellar, but that scene in particular just pumps me up.

- The train sequence from Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers.

- Another train scene, this time from Spider-Man 2.
