Desert Bus.

If you haven't heard of it, google it. It is THE. MOST. BORING. GAME. EVER. DESIGNED.

In fact, it was designed to be the most boring game ever.

Seriously - it's just driving a bus. Down a straight road. For many HOURS, continuously. Because the bus veers slightly to the right, you can't let go of the controller for long. All you do is drive down that road. And yes, it takes HOURS. Nothing happens to the bus while it's driving. You do not stop at all. There is no scenery, just plain desert sand.

And after you get to your destination, you are awarded with 1 single point. Then you get to drive back in the exact same way for hours to get another point. And then you do the same thing for the third point.

The game has a cap on 99 points, but no one has ever got that far into the game, and, according to those who have looked at the game's code, there is nothing that comes after. No joke, no ending, nothing. There are no movies, no cutscenes, no dialogue - just driving the bus. Back and forth. Forever. And yes, it really does take somehwere between 7 and 8 hours of continuous driving, to get ONE POINT.

It is the worst game ever made.
its not meant to be a good game is it?

its a joke mini-game from an old Penn and Teller game that never came out, that takes the piss out of some woman who was the jack thompson of her day ranting about the need for no violence and more realism in games.

A comedy group play it as a kid of boredom marathon to raise money for charity.

That game seems more relaxing than boring. I could enjoy it while listening to music, maybe.

Or, if I really wanted a good trip then I could figure out how to mix in clips of Eraserhead at random intervals. Like, the driver is passing out and entering into that bizarre, Lynchian dream world.

Too terrified to continue, he is eternally waking on some damned train or another, never entirely convinced that it has been the same one all along. Too tired to continue, he is eternally slipping back into the corner realms between reality and sick, visceral imagination.

Edit in some people at each one of the stations. Smiling with huge artificial grins, never blinking.

No end to that game. The only victory is madness.
...awesome? Sometimes I wish I ould understand peoples references.

At first I gave it a good review.

THEN I played it for 2 hours or so and got bored.

I'm sorry, but could GIRL grow a little freaking faster?

Outlive: Robotics Vs Genetics

An old RTS game. Everything about it, gameplay, graphics, story were as generic as they could possibly be. Although the cheats were all awesome because they were named after Iron Maiden songs.

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2... Dont even get me started
That or Dynasty Warriors
Its gets so repetitive, its fun at first but after a while its just
tedious, you can go through the whole game just mashing square
But what about Tenkaichi 3? Wait... is that getting you started? Different game (technically) so I hope not. :D

Also, I like the DW games not the Gundam ones... but I like the story... which is always the same... but I do like Empire Mode... which is worse than Romance of the Three Kingdoms... argh, fail.
No if you get me started on tekaichi 2 on the wii
the control system was atrocious
and the adventure mode was just utter bull
terrible it was

Dynasty warriors you can play the first level, coz its kinda fun, but then when u realise u have to play that same level repeated for every single level thats when you give up
and i swear they dont change each game they make, the graphics never gets really any better and its still boring as hell
i dont see how they are still making games, 6 is out now or soonish

Hmm, the Wii one. I didnt know that, I would have to agree... also, i dont like the Wii... I said the novelty would get boring after about a year... I dont personally know anyone who still plays it.

Yeah, 6 is already out and DW 6: Empires comes out soon... I am going to get it, because I cant help myself and I am oddly proud of having owned all of them so far. :D

X3: The Terran Conflict has got to be my top pick. It's like a single player MMO spaceflight sim that you have to grind everything for. I gagged when I played it, then went back to EVE. Someone else mentioned GTA4, and while I don't think it was boring, I think it was tedious. If they took out the mechanic where you have to stay friends with everyone (or at least make it so you don't have to manage it as much), I would have liked it more. As it stands, my copy of GTA is likely to be traded in at Gamestop soon, as I never got around to finishing it and I haven't touched it in like a year.

In the beginning Fallout 3 was, but i gave it a chance, and it became fucking awesome!
Unfortunately, no one I know has patients and they all hate Fallout 3 because they don't know how to invest time without playing online and having a 12 year old screaming in their ear!

RuneScape. I got to level 93 and I never had fun playing it. I want all that wasted time back!

Vexx, oh my god, worst 25 liri i ever spent. You just do the same thing over and over again, with no plot or likeable characters, and the combat was shoddy at best.

Truckin' Sally: American Dream. It's a super boring and shitty game which can only be bought in Hawaii.

Far Cry 2, call me crazy, i don't care but that game is boring and annoying as hell. When i started the game i felt that this was gonna be crap (10 minute taxi drive). The shooting itself feels weak, it's like my bullets are flying where ever the hell they want. I couldn't stand playing it for 20 minutes, minus the starting car scene.
