Fucking, Austria [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fucking,_Austria].

Gropecunt Lane.

It was named that because of the popularity of prostitution on it. Imagine telling someone your adress.

When I was driving around eastern Germany, I came through one village named "Elend", which literally translates into "Misery"... and twenty metres from the sign there was a drunk hobo passed out on the ground.

Slough, Scunthorpe, Lolsworth, Skegness, Mold.. yes the UK is quite depressing when it comes to place names. I would also add Birmingham... (sorry brummies)
I live next to Birmingham and oh i hate the place but its better than whats next to it and that is Dudley. The most depressing place on earth where it is constantly raining.

Other places are Pity Me in Duram and Ware in worcester i think :S. Its amusing when you say the battle fo ware and people say where? haha
