Most Disappointing Ending

Far Cry 2.
The story was flimsy at best anyway but at the end they seriously had no idea how to finish it. I think they were sick of the whole thing so just got you to kill yourself. Fan-fucking tastic.

Original Ending for Fallout 3, especially the one where you sacrifice yourself, when you have a Ghoul or a supermutent that are pretty much immune to radiation, really, not your destiny? Screw you faux.
RDR the whole third act just kind of burns out no big band and then well you know its a bit anti-climactic,it would be ok if they tightened up the loose ends a it more.
Also although not a book(it dosn't specify in the thread subject) the ending is a load of crap.
P.S. i can think of a bunch of really good endings some should definately make an oposite kind of thing.

It's my favorite game of all time, and always will be, but the ending of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was SOOO weak, especially for a twelve-year-old that had to start from the beginning every time because he didn't have his memory card at home at the time.
FO3. It was just...not a good ending, IMO.
I actually really liked FC2. Because at first the game made me hate the Jackal, until the end when I wanted to do as much as I possibly could to help him. Which I thought a game was amazing to do.

I'll also say Fallout 3's pre-DLC ending, and Fable 2's. But doubly so because they set both up to be these huge, climactic, exciting battles that would put all your skills and knowledge to the test, even with all your super-powered equipment, and then,
Liberty Prime (though AWESOME) does all the hard work for you, and doesn't heel-face turn at the end; and Lucien goes down with one shot, even to the HAND.

The issue with soulstorm is that it added two completely useless factions where as all the previous add ons added some plausible factions. Srsly sisters of battle? what the fail! how could they add an entire faction for them? they could've added the mechanicum, the dark mechanicum, or specific chaos factions for all the different dark powers.. but no, we got stuck with the sisters of fail, and the dark eldar, who're like the eldar only with pointier armor and totally shit vehicles... they're still made of tinfoil tho, muhuhahaha
