I recently watched Law-Abiding Citizen. The scene where the accomplice of the murderer is put to death by lethal injection. The vials that inject the chemicals to put him to death were sabotage and changed. He instead dies a horribly painful death and his veins pop out grotesquely all over his chest and face. Made me cringe a lot.

In 28 Weeks Later, when Don turns into a zombie and kills Alice. And boy is this death a doozy. He ***** slaps her until she's bleeding from the jaw for a little while, and then for the grand finale: He jabs his thumbs straight into her eye sockets, and blood (and tears D:) come out. A sad and disgusting way to die.

As runners up: Final Destination 3, when the two girls went into the Tanning Beds. It's reasons like that, why I hate tanning salons.

Se7en. Every damn death in that movie.

American History X. Crub stomped Gears 2 style. Not pretty.

Kaori's death in Akira!
Ew.

Mine would be the guy who had this alien proboscis rammed into his cranium and get the innards sucked right out from Starship Troopers. It was partly the cause of my insect phobia.
At least he was kind of a douche.

Jesus, that video was soo beyond gruesome.
I've never actually wanted anyone to die before, but he just wouldn't go.

The worst thing is knowing that that happened to around 20 or so people before the culprits were caught.

The deaths in the Hostel movies. Namely the Japanese girl who got her eye burned out and the sadistic wackjob who got his genitals removed.
Nasty.

Also gotta mention the guy in Devil's Rejects who was knocked to the ground by Otis and had his face cut off while he was still alive, after which Otis wears it as a mask to terrify that man's wife.
Man, I really hated the Firefly family.
Baby scares the flying shit outta me. Me being fifteen, with raging hormones and seeing her stab a guy to death was, was just. Holy... Shit. I did not go anywhere near girls with eyes like hers for a month.

Yeah I actually saw that one in a review recently, was actually pretty disturbing, despite the fact it was so over the top i nearly laughed.

Pan's Labyrinth. When the captain (is that his rank?) kills the guy by pounding him in the face, with a glass bottle, over and over again. Very calmly. With a slight smile on.

*shudders*

that was hydroseal a special chemical used for cleaning engine parts that if it gets on your skin it basicly melts that part of you
and if it gets on your whole body it basicly melts you alive
its a real thing!

anyhow i dont watch too many violent movies but i did catch a part in sin city where a guy has his dick ripped off before being punched into oblivion by bruce willis

Can I just say all of Hostel? The first movie actually made me throw up.
Disturbing/Gruesome kinda share the same definition for me.

The kid getting crushed by the clear window thing from Final Destination 2. Seeing or alluding to children dying just always bothers me (hence a huge hatred for Nightmare on Elm Street) and just it was like...wow...
Remember...crushed by a CLEAR window. (intended for a building or something)

-the knife death at the end of private ryan (one of the deaths I genuinley can't watch)
This, the jewish soldier pleading "No!" realising he's going to lose, all while the German, knowing he's going to win simply saying "Shhhhhhhhhh". VERY disturbing.
and then he get's shot by the cowardly translator guy even though he gave up *sigh* the whole movie was fun to watch, but still a huge fest of selfrightousnes and quite far out on the american propaganda scale^^

I know plenty of others have said this, but the "Lust" kill in Se7en gets my vote. I don't even wanna... eugh. I'm sure there's one somewhere that would creep me out even more, but I'm not really inclined to go looking for it.

Irreversible. When the dudes being... um... "accosted" and his friend decides to help him out with a fire extinguisher. You guys can youtube that, because I'm saying no more. I literally shuddered just typing that.

Also, for some reason, the massive gunfight like a third of the way into The Rock disturbed me. I was kind of young when I watched it and it didn't hold much back.

EDIT: Ooh, brainflash. Silent Hill? Poor movie, yeah, but Pyramid Head literally RIPS a woman's ENTIRE SKIN off. It's messed up.
Another little lesser known one was from . . . 2001 Maniacs, I think it was called. Either way, a girl is about to go down on this guy sitting down in a chair. It's all normal, they're giggling and everythings calm, then the girl kind of looks down and starts fiddling, and then looks him in the face with this diabolical looking set of metal jaws in her mouth. Rest is self-explanatory.

hmm..well I was pretty offset by one of the people in the Happening where a guy turned on a big lawnmower, like the kind they use at a high school, and he just lay there while it runs him over and they show it start to spray blood, dang.

Otherwise, i'll go off to video games real fast and say pretty much every death that you can make Isaac Clarke suffer in F***ing Dead Space. now THAT is one hell of a game to disturb ME, ME! a person who can watch Doom 3 or FEAR 2 without ever being scared or taken by suprise or annoyed by blood or gore or being disemboweled...thanks a ton EA.
