Most Embarassing/Stupid Gaming Moment (tell truth now!)

I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone while playing a game on my PS3. While she was playing her PSP....


So we're talking and both getting upset at our games...
Here's where it's sad for me...


She was upset because she couldn't KILL people fast enough...
I was upset because I couldn't find that nifty rug I had acquired in LittleBigPlanet...


This was when I realized, that I was a sad sad little man...

I bought Fallout 3 and was stoked to play it. Stayed up all night playing and was in a building with low health, almost no stimpaks, no ammo for my psitol, and my laser pistol was to the breaking point. Had lots of ammo but no guns to use them with. Next thing I know I am in cation mode and ran like hell to a room I knew was safe. I was hearing voices and belive I was royaly F'd since I was a sitting duck in their home base. I don't remember my brother leaving the room to use the bathroom but when he came in I made a shiek capable of shattering glass.....Needless to say my friends who were sleeping in the room woke up and laughed themsleves back to sleep.

Another moment in Fallout 3 happened with a friend of mine. Having played for four hours straight and shooting a grenade in a raiders hand causing it to explode he was feeling like a god. He was having unbelieveable luck, he was picking up meds and drugs when an ememy came behind him, shot, and missed him. Besides shocking the hell out of us it somewhat hyped my friend up as he proceeded to unleash a clip into the enemy. I went to get a drink and tro mess with him by closing the door and turning the light off. leaving him in the dark. When I came back he was scared out of his mind for some reason and when I came in he threw the controller. I just wish he missed instead of hitting an area I deem very precious. My only joy was after he low blowed me with the controller his character died.

I seriously didn't realise that until' I had died twice.
Of course, I was pretty feverish at that point in time.

I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and my brother saw me. "Is that Donald? "......yes" "is that Goofy.....?" "....yes..."

Shortly after I quit the game and never played again.

My stupid moment came on GTA San Andreas on the two-player mode. Me and my cousin had just started, so to get things going, I walked up to a cop car and hit it with a baseball bat. Both cops got out of the car as I got in.
They busted me straight away.
Needless to say, my cousin fell about laughing but banned me from starting anything like that again...

Embarrasing for me: Repeatedly tossing grenades into the wall right next to me and tending to kill myself and a squadmate in GRAW.

Embarrasing for someone else: So this smart-assed genius kid in my high school notices I'm playing Halo and says "I bet I could beat you, in fact I know I can." I immediately take offense to this for a couple reasons, chief of which being he's one of those smug geniuses who refuse to admit that they are ever wrong. So, despite people saying he actually had skill, I accepted his challenge.

I killed him 10 times in a row before he even killed me once. His chief question was "How do you keep shooting me in the head with the pistol?" my answer: "Well see I use the scope, I thought you'd know how to do that."

After fighting through half a dozen radiscorpians by the skin of my teeth I promptly died from poison.

The embarassing part is, it was a week ago, my friends hate the 360, have a PS3 and had never played GoW ever.

I was playing a game of wii sport with a friend i every time i won i would stand up and go "DO you hear that?(pause and hold hand to ear)Its the sound of me being great" and a few game later my friend one and he stood up and said "Do you hear that?(sniffed the air) Thats the sound of you losing"

EVERQUEST
When you died, you respawned in a town. Then you did a corpse run to go back and loot your gear. A Shaman had a spell to change their bind point to any point in the world.

I choose a bind point in a gypsy camp close to the mobs, since it had some vendors for selling loot. Unfortunately I drew agro from a cons-red flying griffin, who proceeded to promptly kill me after every respawn. To add to my stupidity, I also lost experience for each death.

First few days in EQ1, playing a Barby Shaman up in Halas. Went for a wander further from town than I had ventured before and ended up out in the snow drifts with the mammoths etc.

Then I saw this purple guy in really neat looking shorts and a tunic, I was thinking "wow cool a snow orc, I will run up and have a close look at him"

*ooof, bang, kapow*

"Game loading please wait"

DUH!

A nice introduction to the fact that not everything cool looking was friendly in EQ

many many many moments. one that comes to mind is when I was playing Megaman X1 the other day on one tv while my friend on the other tv also playing Megaman X1, the race was on we both got to Chill Penguin and about the same time and we were neck and neck until.... I died not only once, not twice, but three times to that peckerwood. I declared defeat after he beat his second boss while I was trounced by my first.

My friend was playing FEAR 2, and he had the disposition of someone who is naturally terrified of those sorts of games (let's face it, some people are scared of it, some people aren't. There are different types of horror game), and I was feeling pretty amused with his fear, when he turned round benignly and Alma was right in front of him. I was totally relaxed at this time as I thought I'd seen all at this point. I cried out loud and jumped back a few inches, though I suppose the fact he reflexively fired his gun also added to my shock. We laughed quickly afterwards but daaaaamnit I looked foolish.

Megaman 2, First Wily stage, where you need to use the extra weapon thingies to get from one ill placed latter to another. Took me about two hours to realize I was using the wrong ones, and another one and a half to get the timing right.

This wasn't actually by me, but by my brother.

We were playing the original GRAW together on the 360, doing a mission co-operative. It was in a jungle, and we were doing really good! We never got that far in that mission before and it took us about 1,5 hours or something, so we proceeded with caution.. My brother was looking around with his sniper till he suddenly sees a target. He takes aim, shoots... and I drop dead. After staring blankly at the screen for a few seconds I turn my head to my brother and he's sitting there with his mouth covered by his hands, staring at me with his eyes wide open. There was about a 30 second silence I believe..

Stupidest thing he ever did. We laughed about it though.
