A couple of years back I got a call very early in the morning from my then girlfriend,
I dont remember the exact conversation but the gist of it was

Me: "hello?"
The girl: "I don't think we should see each other any more"
Me: "What?"
The girl: "I'm dumping you"
Me: "Can you do it later in the day?"

she then hung-up on me

needless to say she wasn't impressed
Probably didn't matter by that point really. Bad luck though.
That's not stupid, that's awesome.

-m
Thanks :)
Unfortunatly she was friends with a good friend of mine so about an hour later I had to have a long conversation about being serious in emotional situations, which as I was still not properly awake for sounded uncannily like the teacher from the peanuts cartoons.

I was 16 and really not used to girls at all, and I'm not sure what I was thinking, but a girl that I quite liked sat on my lap in the common room (i.e. there are other people around).

Her: 'Oooh, can you feel my boney back?'
Me: 'Not really. Can you feel my boney dick?'

I think I was trying to be funny. People certainly laughed.

I made a joke about women and kitchens with a female friend who I kind of liked, she said "That's it I'm like, never talking to you ever again!"

Was only a couple of days ago and we haven't talked since.

Once when I had a bit too much to drink, I was chatting up this girl and I told her "You know, I think you've got lovely eyes. I really mean that, I'm not just saying it because I want to get your pants off. I mean, I do want to get your pants off, but that's not why I'm saying it and I don't want you to think that I'd actually use a pick-up line as corny as that."

I never got her pants off. :(

Dear escapist the question is simple what is the most embarrassing you have said to a person of the opposite gender.Let me start first i was at a party and i ran into a girl i knew slightly on the dance floor and i said.........

"what do i have to do to get inside of you, just ask and i will do anything you want me to there is no limit to how far i will go, I'm sure i can pretend to be a gentleman if you want"

So yeah now it's your turn (and don't look at me like that T_T)
You used a line from a Hoobastank song and expected to not be embarassed?

I've never really said anything that embarassed me, but I seem to have perfect timing when it comes to doing things that are not exactly turn-ons if you catch my drift. Worst one was a crotch adjustment, twice, in front of the same girl. The second time I did it I was actually explaining to my friend what I had done and she happened to be right behind me, again.

[In monotone, distracted voice] "Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Huh. Yeah. Sure. Nice ass...... Huh?"

I was talking to a friend of mine (whom I later dated), and I was kinda not listening to anything that she was saying, so I assumed she wasn't paying attention to what I was saying either. Wasn't a good time to be spaced out and lookin' at booty.

Most embarrasing thing I've said?

"My penis is 10cm" (4 inches)
But I quickly followed it up with
"But some girls like it that thick."

It was a wonderful icebreaker, but for that one moment where I'm leaving everyone rather stunned at my sudden outburst, it was a little embarrasing.

"Did your mother teach you that trick of hers?"

Embarrassing because that wasn't her mother.

To my wife one day when we were watching TV and I had Mexican earlier that day with a flu.

Pfffft!

My Wife: Mike, what the hell was that?
Me: Uhhh oh...I think I just shit my pants..."
My Wife: Sounded wet. Mexican is getting to you hun?
Me: I hope it sounded wet. Because I don't think it was just air."

Both the dumbest thing I've ever said, and a complete FML.

"So what don't you like about me? And also, what are some things you don't like about all of my friends?"
She did give me a very useful list of things, though.

Not the best thing to say, but a damn good song. ;P

EDIT: And as for on topic: I don't get along with other girls, so the vast majority of my friends are guys. So one day I give my friend a hug from behind (I was sneaking up on him in the cafeteria) so from amidst my cleavage he says "You make a pretty decent pillow." Rather awkward, but I retorted with "You're not the first to think so." And left him to wonder at the possibilities in horror (he's like a big brother to me, and I'm a little sister to him) when really I had done the exact same thing to someone else with the same reply the day before.

Hm, probably not the most embarrassing, but the first time I broke up with a girl, she (somehow) knew I was going to. She was also with about 5 of her friends

"Hey, can we talk?" -Me
"Are you gonna do it?" -Her
"Do what...?"
"Break up with me?"
"Well......yeah. Sorry."
*Awkward Silence While she looks at the ground and all of her friends look at me like they want to kill me*

The conversation leading up to this point would take too long, so I"m not providing the full context.

Girl: So would you do me?

Me stuned that she said that.

Me: No...oh I mean yes, but no...

*Awkward silence*

It may not seem like it, but just the look on her face makes me feel embarrassed as I type this.

"I love you"
It scared the fuck out of her.
Well, that.

And a few days later:
"I guess I was wrong."

We didn't have much contact, since.
I wonder why?

I've said stupid things. But not embarrassing things. If I can go with stupid then it be giving criticism. Bad idea.....

When I was (very enthusiastically) talking about anime one time:
Girl: "I have a friend who likes anime!"
Me: "Oh, ummm..." *sits down, stops talking*

I have another one:
"Katie, the men are talking."

Not embarassing, but the plastic fork in my eyebrow was.
