One of my History professors from 2 years ago in Florida taught adult high at a community college, and one of her students raised her had one day and asked:

Me: Everyone's making a big deal out of Obama lately (this was back shortly after he became president)
Kid: My mom says that Obama is going to be the second worst president we've ever had.
Me: Who does your mom think is the worst? Bush? Clinton?
Kid: No way, President Hitler of course.

Needless to say I facepalmed there.

I saw a big sign outside a church near my house that said "Creation is true, evolution is a lie" - that's one of the more epically stupid things I've seen. I didn't think we had so much of that kind of stupidity in Australia.
