If you're looking for a song that actually fits the definition of "Epic," listen to Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater.

Id have to say either Rhapsody - Dawn of Victory, or Sonarta Arctica - Wolf and Raven , i could also list many epic Iron Maiden songs that would be considered epic too.
You know Rhapsody? Respect Point +10.

OT: War Of The Universe By Lucas Turrili or Demonheart by the same Artist.

Two Steps from Hell - Heart of Courage
That's the tune from the Mass Effect 2 Trailer. At any epic event, I play that music as it happens.

The most epic song ever? So ridiculously overblown that you can't help but sing along every time you hear the opening notes? So grand and excessive that the only people who don't love every overblown, wrung-out second are those who are trying way, way too hard to stand out?

Pick a Meatloaf song. Any of them. Fuck it, all of them. The most epic song ever is Meatloaf's entire back catalogue.

I'm sorry, but I have to say Sandman by Metalica. That song will stand the test of time.

(I'm not going to post a YouTube link, because every single one of you should have memorised that song by now)

Of course, if we're going back a little futher: Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. You know it. You love it.
