I met Alan Tudyk briefly around Easter in 2002, and thought he was an interesting individual.

Then when I watched Firefly I about flipped.

And within the last year or two I literally bumped into Alec Baldwin without realizing.

Will Wright during the SIMposium that EA held just prior to the release of The Sims 2: University. I even got his signature. I thought I'd be all dignified when i talked to him but I instantly melted down, declared that I was a fan since the SNES version of Sim City and asked if Maxis was hiring.

He very politely gave me a rehearsed response to such a question. Still kicking myself that I didn't ask him something more interesting...or at the very least more dignified.

Dara O'Briain, an Irish Comedian, most famous as the host of Mock the Week. Really nice guy, was doing a book signing at the local Waterstones.

The people I'd most like to meet are Neil Gaiman, and Dylan Moran. The latter looks like a drunken version of the former, imho.

The lead singer of Drowning Pool. Although he was drunk at the time and seems like a loser.
Didn't they fire him recently?

I met (and shared some cheap gin with) the lead singer of Alestorm at a Testament gig. I guess he's not too famous as I don't actually remember his name.

I had a little chat with her, she is a really nice person.

Oh, and every member of Ensiferum, met them in backstage, the singer even gave me his cell number.

Well, ive been to a couple concerts, but MEET, My Cousin played defence for the Edmonton Oilers NHL team. He was actually the captain, longest in team history ( longer than Wayne Gretsky and Mark Messier ). I havent seen him in a while, but ive heard hes kind of a quiet guy, i might see him this weekend at the family reunion though.

Also, the former coach/player/captain of the Edmonton Oilers Craig McTavish's sons whent to my elementary school, along with former player/captain/current assistant coach Kelly Buchberger ( his daughter whent to my elementary school too, shes pretty hot now.).

Current Oiler player Shawn Horcoff shops at the same Sobeys i do.

I went to an Edmonton Oilers draft party this year ( i went because we had the #1 overall pick after a horrible season) and i met a couple players. There was Sam Ganger ( sort of the young pretty boy of the team that is know to be a partier or sorts) whom a drunk fan told he wanted to have sex with, both goalies Devan Dubnyk ( Friggen tower, i think hes about 6'6) and Deslauries ( whom i felt bad for because at this point its pretty much certain hes gone next season ), and the coach ( who actually talked with me, nice guy.

Also, i went to the Oilers rookie camp and i had the ability to see some of the young guys, but i left for some reason. I couldve met Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle and... wait for it... magnus paajarvi-svensson.

Peter Leuders was an olympic boblsleder, he came to my elementary school.

I think an astronaut came to. In retrospect, my elementary school was pretty sweet.

Also, my Dad picked up a guy whos car broke down and it turned out to be the mayor.

Sorry bout the long reads, i figure you being Yanks and Euros that youd have no idea who these guys are.

Also, im a huge Oiler fan, so i tend to follow them closely ( in a non stalker way )

I met Diego Maradona at a youth sports event about 9 years ago.. I was the only one to actually speak to him, and he clasped my shoulder and stood with his arm around me in front of the press. I felt.. like God.

I travel to CA a lot on business (I'm that old), and I also attend a lot of cons. I get to meet some cool people.

Most famous man: Craig Ferguson. Chance run-in at a Malibu Starbucks.

Most famous woman: Hayden Panettiere. At a con in Calgary, AB

Most INTERESTING famous person: Brenda Song. Another chance meeting, only this time I was able to chat extensively with her.

I met the former Premier of Saskatchewan once. Didn't talk to him, I was working as an usher and I handed him a program for a concert.

Thats it.
