I'm not sure if this one has been done resently or not, but...

What is the most frustrating game or section of a game you have expeirenced?

For me I have to say DeadRising

Battletoads, due in part to the fact that it is largely a memory game, requiring exact timing and mastery of the level layouts.

But I still like it.

Dead Rising was just piss poor with it's save system.
Killer 7 for me.
Could not make head nor tail of it.

Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. Nothing more frustrating in Multiplayer than being an inch from the safe-room when you get smoker'd half way back across the level, and your ass-hat teammates are too busy spouting racial epithets to actually help.

Spelunky. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelunky]

I have played that game exactly 1845 times. I have 1844 deaths.

Not only have I only won once, I only won the easiest way, using the checkpoints which are still RIDICULOUSLY hard to achieve.

I'm still working on winning the real way.

Mario Galaxy 2 is extremely frustrating. You can die 500 times and not once feel like it's entirely your fault.

Street Fighter 4 is pretty bad too. I always rage when i'm playing online, most likely because i suck.

World 8-3 on Super Mario Bros. I can steamroll every other level, yet have only managed to get past this level once because of those fucking Hammer Bros!

I want to be the guy, but it was frustrating in a good way
As far as first posts go, that's a damn good one. That game is just insanity rolled up in mania and sprinkled with lunacy.

Welcome to The Escapist, I see you've probably been lurking a while, so you know the ground rules, I hope you like it here.

Fallout 3 could be pretty frustrating. Not because it was super difficult or anything, but because on several occasions I lost 30-60 minutes of extrememly productive wandering, all because the game decided to freeze before I had a chance to save.

Haven and Hearth. You can spend weeks navigating the horrible, clunky landscape, dealing with a fiddly UI and overpowered fricking boars.
Then some prick who has been playing a while longer than you comes and breaks all your stuff, eats all of your rabbits and then kills you.
I mean, I still play it, frequently. But it's annoying that some dick can ruin it whenever he wants.

Hello, my new best friend.

I'd say Spelunky is an insanely tough game, but it's also fair.

OT: I'd say Medal of Honor: Airborne.

IWBTG, Spelunky, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, ADOM, Nethack. Finished all of the above except Spelunky, mind, but at the cost of my sanity.

Touhou really should be frustrating with the difficulty and ludicrous bullet-spam, but it ends up being quite fun somehow.

Dead Rising gets an honourable mention due to the simply... BROKEN save system. You can get yourself in situations where you have used too much time up previously so you have to do later things that require at least 10 minutes in the span of 2 minutes. The result being that you have to restart from the beginning.

Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2, but my god when you over come it, its awesome!
The right statement would be IF you over come it (some poor guy *me* didnt...)

For me recently, it would have to be bad company 2 but, in a good way. Due to the quick kills in mw2, I got used to the 1-2 bursts to kill and quickly realised that this did not apply for bc2 (had alot of "WHY WONT YOU DIE" moments). Also, those goddamn vehicles *shudder*. However, dont get me wrong, all in all, its an awesome multiplayer game.

For most frustrating ever, I cant decide.
