Yeah, same here. Probably the best was when my friend and I pissed off a ton of kids in Stormwind from the same faction as us, and they literally chased us off the server, got all guilds to reject us and no one would run anything with us, we ended up switching servers it was hilarious.PlasticTree said:So many good WoW memories..
I hear ya, I remember fighting for over 4 hours for a bridge on planetside. Each side of the bridge had hundreds of players and a massive air war going on over head. Every so often, one side would try to make a push across the bridge only to get pummeled back. Eventually our side got a good sized group of folks to engage the opposing team from the side and finally make it across. I don't even remeber who really won that day, but I will always remember that bridge fight. Bullets and bombs exploding everywhere and I was dashing around as a medic/repair guy healing everyone and everything I could. I took a ton of screenshots but I lost them when my PC died about 6 months later. Man, that was a blast.Haro said:Coordinated Planetside raids. I'm a huge fps fan, and I really enjoy games that add a bit more of a tactical or even strategic element. Anyway, planetside is (was? I hope its still around) an MMOFPS way back when, truly revolutionary if you ask me. Anyway, it had hundreds of people fighting against each other in massive battles, and of course people organized into full blown groups, that could get as large as 30-40 people (been a while, so excuse my poor memory), and then those groups would all get together. You could have literally a hundred people all pouring out of dropships or launching WWII-esque tank battles. truly a sight to see, and I hope someone gets to making another one like it.
Halo 2's Blood Gulch...was that Coagulation?Lopunny said:Or on the Halo 2 version of Blood Gulch...I alwasy used to get a banshee and a sniper rifle and hide on the wee cliff just to the east of the base. I could shipe loads of people before they worked out how to get to meBlade3dge said:Blood Gulch, standard rules, no vehicles, Halo 1.
To me that was the golden age, maybe it was my domination of it that made it so fun to me. I don't know but it is a time that I will never forget.![]()
Weird, I never experienced that myself! Did we really play the same game?soaringbiscuit said:Yeah, same here.
