As the title suggests i want to know what is your favorite or funniest moment in gaming that you have achieved while mucking around in a game.

For me it was recently in just cause 2 when i took the new dlc ice cream truck and decided to see how far i could make it down from the highest mountain. i got a lot of good laughs watching my ice cream truck barrel role to the sound of the ice cream truck's horn. (its amazing the beating that thing can take)

So my fellow escapist users share your story and learn from others.

Seems like everyone is having fun in Just Cause 2 for being a sandbox. Everything else about it, people seem to dislike (at least from what I'm told).

Assassin's Creed II. I was going to say [Prototype], but hidden blades are just more satisfying.

Saint's Row 2.

Turn off friendly fire. Attach Satchel Charges to friends helicopter. Preferably a Gyro Daddy.

Detonate in midair. Watch them spin around like crazy.

Get more satchels from the free stash and do it again! Take turns being blown around for maximum enjoyment!

I supremely need to buy Just Cause 2 because playing with the demo is so fun. And Saint's Row 2's sandbox is satisfying, at least for a bit.

I think the winner goes to Garry's Mod for being based upon the entire idea of mucking around.

Slaughtering random civilians in Prototype. Mowing them down like they were weeds in a garden. It was more fun than the actual game (in fact, the rest of the game kind of sucked).

After clearing out the entire city in InFamous, just speed grind all the rails around the city. It's pretty sweet, and reminded me of the old times playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.

Playing Hearts of Iron 2 as Nazi Germany. Forced bitter peace on the Soviet Union, and successfully pulled off operation sea-lion. With the fall of Britain and the addition of Spain to the axis (thereby closing off Gibraltar), managed for force the allies out of Algeria and Morocco. Pushed the allies back towards Cairo, but got stuck at the bottleneck of Al-Alemain (spelling?). Stacked about 120 divisions there, facing about 180 allied divisions (this was in 1957). I then, promptly nuked the province twice. 179 divisions destroyed in a span of 4 hours. Fun times.

Just Cause 2 of course.
Well, I was attaching vehicles to airplanes all afternoon one day, and riding the skies in my favorite sports cars, when I decide to steal a jumbo jet, and attach it to another jumbo jet...
Surprisingly, I match the takeoff speed and we're off, but I was swinging to the left a little too much, and instead of pulling the other one, we both kind of did a half circle and collided. I didn't survive, but it was hectic...

In Fallout 3, swimming in the sea of radiation, known as the Potomac, is fun, 'cause there's lots of stuff that nobody knows about down there.

I'm curious, go on.

OT: As mentioned above, Fallout 3 is fun for that kinda thing. Like causing a massive explosion by shooting a Bottlecap mine that has been left on a large pile of deactivated cars.

Red Faction: Guerrilla on Easy mode with all the cheats turned on...

Leap off a mountain firing rockets into a giant building below and use your jetpack to break your fall as you land in the collapsing debris, thousands of particles and physics objects collapsing around you as you get your sledgehammer ready...

It's poetry.

Just Cause 2. Period. The game is centered around the idea of "mucking around in a video game". Stunt jump onto a car, get into high speed chase, while on a bridge or along a cliff side, grapple the other car to the side and watch them get yanked over the edge. All while during high speeds.

Difficult to say, any game I can make fun in, I'll do, whether its sticking things together in Just Cause, having a dog fight in San Andreas like as if its Hawx or something (not to mention in one of the missions, getting onto the back of a lorry that is indestructable in order to collect bikes on the highway, instead, I stood on it and caused mass chaos while watching services attempt to stop me), Populous whereby I take evil enjoyment in slowly sinking away my enemies land into the sea so that they have nowhere left to build and defeat me >:D Assassins Creed for the silent kills (although it tells you off :( ), metal gear solid 2, who doesn't like the giant hanger scene with all the soldiers in front of the screen?

Theres lots, apart from linear games like Doom 3, I have mucked about and had a heck load of laughs in most of the games I've played.

or just going on a killing spree in saints row 2 in the BEAR armoured vehicle

Hmm, actually, I have lots of sneeky Populous ways, I also like to confuse enemies men so they attack thier own base, which is rather amusing. What a fun game Populous is ^^ No matter how old that game is, I still love it :D

GTA: San Andreas is JUST for the mucking about, in my case. Plot? Hah! I haven't done any of the game yet. Here's a little look into some of the nuttery I pull there, courtesy of codes and exploration...

{1} Driving around maximum speed to see how bad a wreck-up I can get into without exploding or something. I have gotten myself into some weird-ass situations, like sliding down a hill in a car upside-down, or ploying a motorcycle into the edge of a bridge at full speed, thus catapulting myself off the cliff and into the drink. When I break into airfields via jetpack and mess with the flying vehicles, I actually have a helluva time since CJ can't fly (at this time). The one time I went really high up, accidentally got out of the helicopter, and got flung into the stratosphere was the best.

{2} I cause massive Blues Brothers-caliber car pile-ups along the highways and such, and I also play a game with explosives to see how big and badass I can make a chain explosion with the cars desperately trying to get the hell out of here, preventing even the ambulences and the firetrucks from doing anything. For some reason, this tends to amuse me for a good while, and I also like just randomly making people run when I throw grenades.

{3} For going after people in particular, I enjoy taking a car and wildly driving it around town, just seeing who I can punt into next year. If there is a group of gangers that I know are gonna try and shoot, I run them over, then back up to get them again, and again, and again...until they're smart enough to stay down. And then I kill the ambulence to to make sure they don't revive any time soon. I also like to wander about town with a flamethrower. The reason for this should be obvious.

This game was built for evil pleasure, nothing else.

Crackdown: Just piss off as many gangs as i can at once. Fun times!

GTA4: Chose a random car, Chasing it Popping the tyres, Then just following it as it runs from me, Occasionally giving a pit, Just for shizz & giggles.

GTA4: Similar to the above - See if you can take out the driver of a car oncoming in one shot. Very good fun.

I usually ONLY play GTA4 in the Party mode, I cant stand the fuzz.

Crackdown with the keys to the city DLC. I went to my friend's house every day for two weeks, just to mess around in Crackdown. Loading a rubber duck with limpet charges never gets old.
