They lived happily ever after, it was all a dream, the girl didn't like the boy but now she does. Needs moar realism.

Happy endings. I'd like to see the bad guys win at least their fair share of battles.
I wanted Scar to be victorious in the Lion King. I'm always rooting for the villains.
OP: Ass Creed 2.

aaaaaanyway

I do not like unreasonable happy ends, cop outs, or things as stupid as ACII.
I'm willing to forgive Ubisoft, I'll just say it's an arbitrary date.
Lucky you! :p I wish I sounded like him.

get Jeremy Irons to do a Mission Impossible voice thingy and you're good to go!

Sunsets.

Why oh why must happy endings always go off with the heroes gazing/walking into a sunset. It hasn't been cool or interesting since the Indiana Jones movies.

The main character survives, by some kind of magic, even though every event so far indicates they should have died, ie: The Matrix, Fight Club.

SPOILER (Fight Club was especially bad. He shoots himself in the mouth and lives!) SPOILER
Fight Club is a different story, because that was not the original ending. In the book Jack blows his brains out and meanders about Heaven for a chapter reflecting on what happened. Most people hated the ending, as it was horrible bad, and Palahnuik got the chance to rewrite it in the movie, which makes FAR more sense and isn't quite as morbid. As for surviving the shot, it's entirely possible, if you watch closely he's aiming to the side of his neck to not hit his spinal cord, when he gets up you can see the wound is on the side of his neck, not middle. He'd have to worry about bleeding to death shortly there after, but he could survive it, by missing the spinal cord no vital organs would be hit.

Endings that are 45-minutes long and nothing but cutscenes. (Yes, I'm talking about you Metal Gear Solid 4.)

the villian and all of his allies are still alive at the end. The good guys and all of there allies were still alive. Nothing happened not even a big battle.

The stupid Hollywood kiss. Where the "hero" has to kiss the "damsel (sometimes in distress)" no matter WHAT. Dont mind the fact that they havent had any real emotional bonding...THE HERO GETS TO KISS THE GIRL.

The EXTREMELY stupid rythm change or whatever in virtually all comedies (which are automatically romances) where the couple has some STUPID fight or disagreement and you KNOW they are gonna overcome it and get back together. Man Hollywood..get a clue.

1. Where the ending points to an inevitable and crappy sequel if the movie is successful (or not)There doesn't always have to be a sequel to a successful movie. Come on Hollywood execs get it through your heads (I'm not saying all successful movies that have sequels have bad sequels)
2.IT WAS ALL ALIENS (e.g *spoilers* (don't know how to make that link to show spoilers so srry) the ending to The Knowing

This whole timetravel stuff we did in order to fix something? Wow, it turns out it was only neccesary/possible BECAUSE we used timetravel. Yeah, a big paradox but what a twist... The first 6 times you see it. Seriously, if time travel is involved, it's a twist if this DOESN'T happen, but some writers still have the balls to pretend anyone will be suprised (I'm looking at you here Prince of Persia: Warrior within)
Okay, doesn't always happen at the end, but still.

The big "It was all a dream ending."
And also the whole thing of a current conflict being resolved only for something to happen at the last second leading to "To Be Continued."

It pains me to mention it, but they just pulled a Naruto and started a whole new series to carry the last volumes of the original manga. It's called InuYasha: The Final Act. It was 26 episodes long and it might still be up on Hulu. I'm not sure.

A Halo 2 like cliffhanger that basically says "You want to know what happens next? Screw you, you have to fork out another 60 bucks for Closure around here."

You win a cookie because that's exactly what I was referring to :D

Damn those look good! Mmmm, soft baked chocolate chip cookies, *drools*

OT: When you go through the whole movie normally, then you get to the end, and either the main character or important person is about to die or the world's about to explode, and just as it's about to happen...

BAM! They wake up, and it was all a dream/simulation/some other bulls**t.

It worked in Assassin's Creed, but that was because it still actually happened.

Isn't that the end of the original series? The final act's already done and I'm pretty sure it does have a real ending. I'm not sure why they stopped the series there originally but it is finished now. I'm not a big inuyasha fan but I laughed when I heard they were making the final season since I had friends griping about it.
