Oh, so many to choose from. Well, 'The Defenders' certainly annoy me. I mean the kind that will not take ANY criticism towards their favorite thing. I kinda hate using Sonic fanboys two posts in a row here, but no other group gives me better examples. You see, I love Sonic Adventure. Really. But the ending just never sat right with me. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are standing in the middle of an absolutely demolished city. Buildings are toppled and collapsed, water has flooded the metropolis, and tons of people have no doubt died. Tails is the first to speak.
"All's well that ends well, right?"
THE CITY HAS BEEN DESTROYED YOU RETARDED MUTANT FREAK!!! I found this clip on Youtube and left a comment saying that I love the game, but that line in the ending has never made sense to me. I got so many thumbs down that my comment was seriously marked as spam. It's one stinkin' line of dialogue, people!
And then there's the opposite of this, the people who hate a game but can't understand why in the hell people like it. I'm not going to get too specific on this one since it happened here at The Escapist, but basically one person was upset because a game he thought was horrible sold well. However, he was definitely in the minority opinion, as I pointed out to him. The game got excellent reviews and has a relatively large fanbase. I get a half page explaining that everyone else is dead wrong and that his opinion is the only correct one. Dude, get over it. You have a minority opinion, we all do. Who cares?
