Most Infuriating And Difficult Achievement/Trophy/Level in a game?

Treasure Trove on Lost Odyssey. I am not going to even bother finding EVERY SINGLE FUCKING ITEM in the game. While it's not the hardest achievement, it is definitely the most boring.

This brings back memories of when I was trying to get the "Mile High Club" achievement from Call of Duty 4. This is one the the most annoying achievements I've ever gotten that comes to mind. I hated the mission and achievement a hell of alot, but felt compelled to get it, through some strange sense of incompletion of the game. Which achievement/trophy/game level was it for you?

P.S Please don't message me telling me how sad and crap I am because you got the achievement first time. I highly doubt that you did, and it's not the point of this post.

The one from COD WAW were you have to kill Amsel with a pistol. GGNNAAAARGH!

I had so much trouble with that until I, for the first time ever, discovered a glitch before anybody else.

You don't have to kill him with a pistol - he just has to die while you're holding a pistol. I missed him and must have accidentally shot his car, because as I relaoded for another go, I got the achievement randomly.

EDIT : Please use the Search Bar. In recent memory I can recall about a dozen of these threads cropping up. Still, not as bad as those "Zombie Survival" threads.

(bioshock) well the brass balls achievement is infuriatingly difficult. Get through the entire game without dieing once your kidding right. I found it hard trying to stay alive on normal difficulty.
the seriously 2.0 achievement is a bugger to complete. 1,000,000 kills is an insanly large amount of kills to get on gears of war 2

I have good news (or bad?), if you turn off Vita chambers and save a lot it's actually a breeze.

I feel ashamed asking this but you can turn off the vita-chambers? I never knew that.

Anyway the most annoying achievments come from Dead Rising where you either have to save people with no survival instincts or kill 52,000+ zombies in one go, they're all extremley tough and gnaw at my patience.

I got it too, but it was hard because several times I wanted to fire it into the woods and have fun without worrying about some gnome.

Really "unpopular" games with online achievements piss me off because there's hardly anyone playing them online when I am who have a decent internet connection... for me to mooch off of. Also ones that take too much time and require DLC.

I'd go with general rank in Halo Wars... You need like 1 million exp to get that... Not worth the time imo!

^^ This, and doubly so for overlord II seeing as everytime I've tried to play online the internet says "Sorry, you are the only player that bought this game for the playstation. Please go out and make some friends then make them buy buy the game if you want your damn platinum"

Also, the combo awards on Mortal Kombat vs DC. Seriously, I can get 4 of the ten combo's with scorpion, arguably the easiest character in the game. Getting all of them just seems impossible

All the "Be good" achievements in Infamous. I realized the game thought I'd actually play it twice.

Really? I realize some women stay with abusive men...but as a guy I am not responsive to games that punish me for being nice enough to show interest in them.

Sorry...I realize it was just on my gamefly and I basically only paid 5 bucks to play it...but that game makes me want to find the developers and kick each of them in the bare asshole.
