Ninja Gaiden... WOW. That game is fucking hard. Also Devil May Cry 3 *regular version* I have never heard of a game so tough that it had to be re-released!!!!

For me, it was Unreal Tournament 3 on insane on the 360, without only doing the last level of each campaign. That really was brutally hard.

The most insanely difficult game in the universe is ... trying to figure out what a woman wants. Thus, I play video games. Hello, comfort zone. Good-bye, broken [insert appropriate part of anatomy.]

Sim City 4 is pretty difficult. Try balancing your budget while trying to satisfy your citizens needs.
Sim City 4? No offence, but that's pretty much the easiest game I've ever played.

The point of the game is, you CAN'T balance the budget and keep the citizens perfectly happy all the time. They will always complain about something, just ask anyone in real life you meet on the street if they are absolutely perfectly happy about the way their city/town is?

Sim City series is a simulator; it emulates real life. And one inescapable fact about life is that you can't please everyone. It's all a matter of compromises.

Once you accept that, any Sim City game becomes as easy as walking.

I found Ouendan 2 to be particularly unforgiving, if just on the higher difficulty levels. I could never actually get through the second to highest difficulty level. Not only did my continued efforts give an extremely sore right hand (yes, I said hand, not wrist so get your minds out of the gutters people) and caused me to burn through my first DS Lite. :p

My fairly recent attempts to run through it again were decidely ham-fisted and useless.

Other than that, Devil May Cry 4 on, Dante Must Die mode? I'm not sure if that was the exact name but it was relentlessly tough I thought. I lost heart by the time I was stuck in an elevator with one of those accursed lightning type creatures, given that I was already one hit away from certain death...

It may be the easiest game YOU ever played but thats not the topic is it?

I found it quite difficult to manage all the demands and try to obtain enough business to keep my city from falling apart.
Correct, that is not the topic. On first glance I simply found myself a tad amazed at your choice of a game regarding the topic. And yes, I admit that it took a while to learn the inner workings of Sim City 4. Perhaps I've just found it easy because I've been playing the series ever since the first one came out.

And besides, I'm glad you are facing a challenge in such a good game;challenges that seem all too lacking in the gaming industry nowadays.

aaaaand with the slider making it so that the difficulty doesn't change. That took me bloody ages to complete the game.
