Most Intense / Epic Boss Battle

Of all the boss battles I've played, it would have to be a tie between the first boss in Ikaruga and the final boss in Castle Crashers. When I saw that a treasure chest had landed on him I was so relieved, and then I got it open and I was like "OMFG GIANT SPIDER AHHHHHH!"

I'm going to have to go with Resident Evil 5, the very last battle, playing with a friend. I'm factoring in the cutscene too. The whole battle took alot of guns and timing and patience. It went on for quite a while and had a satisfying end to it.

Most intense: Everything in Shadow of the Colossus. Especially the fifteenth.

Most epic: Probably the final fight from Kingdom Hearts 2, that was a gorgeous set of battles.

Honestly I'm stuck on several, but if I were to say the top three boss battles of the games I've played thus far it'd have to be:

1. Gilgamesh- Final Fantasy XII

2. Sephiroth- Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2

3. Ultimecia- Final Fantasy VIII

4. And a couple of the opening boss fight cutscenes in Onechabara Bikini Squad was kinda epic...mostly becaused they involved half naked woman fighting ridiculously hardcore.

Oh and on a personal note....

Ocelot from every Metal Gear Game rules as being the most epic of epics cause he has a mastery of guns and let's not forget..."Guns of the Patriots!" *Runs away backwards holding arms out laughing*

I was watching my brother play Darksiders, and he fought some huge stone spirit robot thing. Holy crap it looked epic

16th Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus.

Poseidon in God of War III, it was just so epic, not necessarily the most difficult of boss fights but the way it was presented just made it feel so intense.

Of all time I'll stand by the finale of Ocarina of Time, wherein you're pitted against an awesome Ganon.

But I'd also throw the fight with Dagon from Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth into the that.

How about most epic fail? The "final battle" of Oblivion in which...

Marten steals all the glory by turning into a F*****G dragon and fighting the prince of destruction himself and all you can do is watch his noble and heroic self-sacrifice. Oh, and it's awesome how everyone rubs it in your face afterward.

Why did I even bother leveling?
