People who blindly follow Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation, Okay I will admit he is a funny guy at the right time. The thing is people think he is so funny they copy his opinions and thoughts to try to be him, when really I think it would often be quite terrible to be him.
By extension any blind follower of any of the video posters. Not just Yahtzee's, but any others. They are after all people and can be wrong, so if I disagree with one point they make, it doesn't mean I'm watching the wrong show. I don't watch shows to valid my opinion or even make it for me.

'/thread' definitely bugs me every time I see it. Not enough to rage or anything, but it makes me go "ugh..."

Posts where people try to point out and emphasize just how fucked up they are, how anti-human they are, and how the rest of the population are insects/retarded/worthless, etc. Stop iiiiiiit... if you're so anti-social, why the hell would you come to a forum, of all places? As impersonal and vague as this form of communication may be, it's still social interaction, which you're apparently against, being so superior and all.

People who say "Ninja'd" annoy me, too. It's like "this," but it digs me more. Even in this thread, there's a chance someone posted these things first. But they haven't "Ninja'd" me.
I always assumed "ninja'd" meant that you checked the topic, found no one posted anything similar, then you made your post only to find that someone made a similar post during the few seconds it took to type it. I just double checked urban dictionary, and that's what it says as well.

I have to agree, though... "This" is becoming the new "me too." :/

OT: Anything along the lines of "And why do we care again?" on a news story. Maybe you don't care, but there's guaranteed to be someone who does.

Yes but people following Yahtzee are the most common on The Escapist, so I mentioned them. Who really would want to be him though? He has to play games that he hates for a living and (no offense to him personally) He seems to hate every game newly made ever because it doesn't live up to the game he played 10 years ago.

Most things I hate have already been said.

I'll just add people who quote the OP when posting their comment.

Not really - the people who work on the Escapist deserve to be paid for their work, if you're not a part of the publisher's club then you put up with the ads.

I think that opinion comes mostly with common decency, not sucking up to the mods.
I disagree with this. Better they write their articles & make their videos because they want to, rather than because it's a steady income.
Well they do their job because they want to (it's a rather specific area to work in after all), but they can't devote fully to it unless it sustains them.

Why should they post all this content and not be paid? Would you be saying that if they published a physical magazine?

I just have to laugh at those people now - the amount of entitlement they feel is off the chart.

It takes a lot of work to make them, surely its a bit naive to expect quality content from qualified people for free simply because they love doing it. The Escapist is as much a business as any other, and they have no right to look for handouts from their contributers.

That is the one I dislike the most.
I quite hate that too. Along with the "Recommend me a ______", "Am I the only one _____", threads with sensational titles that have close to nothing to do with the OP, re-re-re-re-re-rehashed flamebait threads (I'm looking at you Console vs PC threads)...

OK, well I can perhaps see your problem with how he went about it, but people who deny something like gravity (although that's a fairly extreme example) should be educated properly.

If you decide to ignore facts and simply make up your own conclusions from thin air, then you are an idiot; if you're brought up by idiots, not your fault.

I agree with you, but the guy was pretty much advocating genocide (even if he didnt realize it) of people who were pretty much raised to believe stupid things.

No, he wasn't. It's obviously said jokingly in the OP.

Hey, I listen to everything including Rap and Country.
The chances are, you only think you do. :<
But....but....I have both Rap and Country on my computer. .___.
I dont believe you listen to everything though.
To everything I've come across thus far, which is quite a lot. I don't know any genre that would make me say "Ugh, turn that off" when played.
But then again, I don't really need to prove it to you, do I? Let's just end it here.

Or we could settle it like men. *pulls out sabre*

If that's what "Ninja'd" means, people are either running their internet on a tin can and strings or they're doing it wrong.

A lot of time on here, "Ninja'd" posts will be 30 or more minutes before the post in question, or people will simply post "Ninja'd" instead of actual content, making it very much like "this." It'd be the equivalent of me replying to this post with "Ninja'd," even though it was in my "quoted" messages section and clearly had been in play for a while.
