The USAS-12 from Far Cry 2.
It may only hold 12 rounds, but it's fully automatic fire, at least on the Xbox 360. (My friend has the PC version and says it's only semiautomatic there.)
MGS4's shotguns are pretty cool as well: you can switch between buckshot, slug rounds, and tranq rounds, plus one of the shotguns can be used with one hand.

I also Like the one from half-life 2 (I like the sound it makes when you reload it go ahead and laugh) I also like the one from killzone 2 it actalually feels like it has weghit to it when you carry it around and makes you feel bad ass when you take out two or three enemies with it at the same time. And wail I didn't think about it at first your right the shotgun from no country for old men was awesome( I like the sound it makes when it's fired go ahead and laugh I'll wait)

The Pimp cane from Saints Row, that thing shot slower than any other shotgun in the game but was unbelievably powerful. Probably my favorite shotgun in terms of aesthetics as well : D
The DOOM shotgun is king of all shotguns. The Halo: Combat Evolved shotgun is merely an update of that beast of a weapon. Ergo, I choose the Halo: CE shotgun.
The HL2 shotty is also great. I think it's safe to say most people started using that as their primary weapon in HL2 as soon as they got it, and only switched when they ran out of ammo or had to fight a boss. I mean, the Gravity Gun was cool, but I ended up taking way more damage when I tried to use it in combat.
