There was a game shop that was shutting down, and I was on my own in the town centre, so I went in, games were dirt cheap, and they had Saints Row 2. the guy behind the counter vouched for me as an 18 year-old since they were closing down anyway.

Anyway, no special times, when it came to games like GTA either my mom eventually caved in and let us play my uncles (He loved violent video games) or she wouldnt cave in at all.

As an Aussie I'm seeing the irony in this thread.
You dont need your parents to by you mature games in Australia.They usually get snuck in with an 'M' rating which means its available to kids.
