The microwave tunnel in MGS4. It is mostly a cut scene all you have to do is tap triangle. It was absolutely fantastic the epic music the split screen showing snake in terrible pain whilst his friends held off the enemy... fantastic. There are many great cut scenes in the MGS series but that one was truly brilliant.

gotta go with you on that. it was incredible, because you almost lead the main character to his death, and it was awesome how it showed side scenes like on 24. great game

The scene from Twilight Princess when you meet up with the light spirit of the Lanaryu (That how you spell that?) Province and it puts you through a trippy travel through history... Damn... it's a good one.
You know the one, if you've played it.

On terms of amazment, i would say anyone from a big mission in SR2, espicially the one with Gat in the graveyard, "Get up."

Umm.. but not sure if this counts

FF6's intro shows you dont need amazing graphics or flashy cinematics to be effective. TO this day it's still rather awe inspiring.

Zacks death leaves me sad every time. The japs voices do a way better job but oh well.

Ema's fight with the conqueror was epic

Crysis Warheads Intro is made of awesome

Final Fantasy Tactics Remake for the PSP had some epic and jaw dropping cutscenes. These two were my fav

I'l leave it at that for now...

... er, are you sure that was Ocarina of time? I got right to the end of that game and I can't remember Sheik being in that one (was a long while though).

Still Life's many cut-scenes have left an big impact on me, but the best ever in my mind is without doubt the introduction FMV to Broken Sword: Knights Templar (the original version, not sure how different it is in the director's cut).
Yeah, but OP is just stupid. It never actually shows sheik becoming zelda, most people are just retarded and assume that's whats going on.

The intro to Dawn of War. Jesus, first time i saw that...out came the lube.
I don't think there was ever an intro that captured the feel of a game, more than served as part of the story.

The whole opening part of Bioshock, it does everything so well. It doesn't even have to show the plane crash to make an impact; just the sound of the calamity as the logo fades in on a black screen and then rusts with age. Brilliant.
When you are in the bathysphere and Andrew Ryan triumphantly utters "I chose something different; I chose the impossible; I chose Rapture" and the screen slides back to show you the emerging city, I almost wet my pants.

Any cutscene that involves a quick-time event automatically fails for me. My all-time favorite scene is the final battle between Martin Septim and Mehrunes Dagon at the end of Oblivion's main quest. No quick-time event needed, you've done your part, you've done enough to beat the game, now sit back and watch the epic awesome.

It's dated now, but the opening to Parasite Eve.

The female lead begins singing, she turns to the other singers and they burst into flames.

Then the audience begins immolating and she continues singing...
Yea, I'm gonna go with you on this - during its time, the scene was beautiful. God, what a great game <3

For me the "mind blowing cut-scene" wasn't a twist revealing cut-scene, but rather the cool knife-fight scene between Leon and Krauser in Resident Evil 4.
