I searched for this thread and didn't see anything, so I'm sorry if it's been done , and I just didn't see it. I'd say mine was Tecmo's Deception for PS one. You basically were a ghost that laid traps to kill invaders in a castle that you could alter at will. I can't for the life of me remember if there was a point to it or not, but it was fun.

I just thought of another one Double Helix. Bruce Campbell does the voice acting and it involved area 51 if I remember right.

AIM - Artificial Intelligence Machine, really really obscure.

Edit: It was a birthday gift, one I should't have opened.

Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call

Seriously good story and nice character design...

Omnikron : the Nomad Soul

really interesting concept where you the player are called from another world to solve some sort of problem by inhabiting a person's body, and thus his life. When you die you soul is then transfered to whoever touches your corpse, so there is no real game over.

Also David Bowie did the music for it and does some voice acting for it. Sadly I never got the game to work without freezing or crashing.

I have Alien Force. Basically, it's a grid that has enemies and you as spaceships that try to kill one another. It's old, not obscure, but whatever. No one I know has heard of it.

I think I played that. If it's the same thing I'm thinking of, then you had this gauntlet that gave you powers and everyone wanted it for themselves. There were normal people and later on vampires. You had no weapons (maybe a melee attack, can't remember) but the traps were awesome. Boulders, spikes, acid, blocks, bombs. Good times.

I played a demo for that. Seemed interesting. How was it?

I have a bunch of PS2 Atlus RPG's such as Phantom Brave... most of my other obscure games I have forgotten about.

I also have Monster Rancher 2, and used to have the rest of the series.

Bully. Don't know too many people with that game.
I use to have Bully but what was so obscure about it? Its just a much more kiddy version of GTA (its even made by the same company).
