Fable: The Lost Chapters. I love that game to bits, and I've played it through at least 20 times. Other than that I usually don't play games more than one time. Deus Ex would probably be close second with six or seven playthroughs.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Pokemon Blue or Fire Emblem. I have no idea how many times I have played those through.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, total number of completed games(all the way to the end) would be somewhere near 25 or so.Next would be Return To Castle Wolfenstein with about 10 playthroughs.Timewise would be an MMOFPS I'm not gonna mention, the number has 4 digits.

Mass Effect 2 would be my most played through game.

20-30 plays through... (I can't be very accurate due to my save files being across 2 hard-drives, and I'm not fiddling around fitting the old one back in just to check) I liked to go through on each class, using different team members, doing different chat options and putting skill points in differently. Then they started releasing some missions as DLC...

Not to mention the few times I ran through on lower than max difficulty just to see how viable it would be to use the particular class/skill point set-up. It's quite amazing how annoyingly crippled Adepts get when every target is immune to being thrown around due to having Armour/Shield/Barrier and therefore highly resistant to the main part of an Adepts damage source until they would get one-shotted by a Warp anyway...

Then I guess it becomes a tie between Portal and Magicka...

I went through Portal a few times just because I wanted to see how quickly I could do it (After having completed the challenges) and did the same with Magicka (Also Achievement hunting!)

Having a consistently low income, I played the first three generations of pokemon games... at least six times. Each. I have nearly exhausted the series, but I still play one of each new gen game at least once. However, if the next set doesn't have any noticeable innovation, it may be the first one I pass over.

Also, having played Fallout 1 and 2 twice each in the space of two months after getting them, my only incentive not to play them again is that I don't want to wear them out. Playing those games with a different character build feels like a unique experience each time, so I feel like I will revisit them quite a bit.

It's a toss-up between Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 5. Metal Gear Solid 3 is probably the winner in all honesty though.

Captcha: "Identity Theft". Wat.

I played Mass Effect 1 through ten times, but the no. 1 spot still goes to Starfox adventures with 11 full playthroughs

Super metroid. Periodically, I just run through it again to see if I can accomplish ever shorter runs. Most take a little more than 2 hours to complete.

Probably Super Mario Land 1 on the GameBoy. The one from 1990. I didn't keep track of how often I played through this, but considering I always take my GameBoy with me when I'm on vacation and also considering I can beat this game in about 20 Minutes without dying, even if I haven't played it for a couple of years .. well .. I played through it quite a lot, i guess.

Otherwise, I'd count for Shadow of the Colossus. I played through this a reported 14 times so far.

Oh, and why do I play those games that often? Because they're really good obviously.

Elasto Mania. I'm guessing 70 times through with a different profile. Not even counting the hundreds and hundreds of hours practicing, honing times, making & playing custom maps and so on.

I suppose the Devil May Cry series with probably about 40-50 combined playthroughs on various difficulties and maybe 70-80 times on certain missions.
Honorable mention goes to Final Fantasy X, with at least 3 playthroughs on well over 100 hours (160 on my longest) and many challenges complete.
Fallout 3 may soon join this list; I bought it when it first came out and didn't really like it, I bought it again recently and now love it :D

It's between Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Fable 2, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas... I like multi-plays.

I almost never play through a game twice. Infamous is the only exception, and that was because I changed my gamer tag and wanted to have it carry over to Infamous 2.

I've got too many unplayed games as it is.
I hate to be one of those people, but why would changing your gamer tag affect inFamous?

OT: I'm not a completer really, I only got into finishing games recently and I can't think of any I've had the time to get through twice.

EDIT: If you count defeating Baal in Diablo 2, I'm sitting on about 9999999999 playthtoughs.

If you're unfamiliar with the game it's common practice to fight the bosses in D2 about 20-30 times to grind experience as the game respawns all enemies when you save and exit. And defeating certain bosses is really high yeild of XP with low time/difficulty compared to other ways of levelling. Some day's I'd do about 50-100 Baal Runs a day.

If we are only including the first time you beat Baal (because it's the only time that you complete the final quest in the game) I'm sitting on well over 100.
