cause he was still married to Catherine of aragon when he married anne boylen.
but it was ironic that Elizabeth the first,
Henry VIII's and Anne Boylens daughter
who ended up becoming queen.
After Henry VIII's death his son by Jane seymour Edward VI succeded
Then after 9 years on the throne he died.
Lady Jane Grey was on the Throne for only 9 days before being overthrown
by Henry VIII's oldest living Child Mary I.
(she is most commonly known as bloody mary for killing hundrads of Protestants)
she lived for 4 years before dying of stomach cancer.
her sister Elizabeth the first, was on the throne for 45 years
she was the last of the tudor line, being succeded by her cousin James of Scotland.

He annulled...2, I think. An anullment is different from a divorce. an anullment means the marriage "never happened". It's like a great, big religious "Undo" button. So, that's Three off the list.
Also, cuz he changed from Catholicism to Protestantism just to get divorced, the Catholic Church didn't recognise one of his marriages. So, if you're catholic, like moi, he was only PROPERLY married 2-to-4 times
