And a really rude way of remembering it, much worse than King Philip Came Over For Good Sex. Also I can prove mathematically that you can get a pendulum on rod to stand straight up if you vibrate the pivot quickly enough.

This is an official boxshot of Super Mario Galaxy. Notice the tiny stars on some of the letters in the title? If you only read the letters with stars on you will get:

U R MR GAY

Nintendo is awesome.

The only German I can remember from two years of studying is 'De Leften Blinken auft mein krankenwagon ist kaput', and I'm not 100% sure if that's right (phrasing, not spelling).

For those who don't speak German (oh, the irony of me saying that!), it means 'The left indicator of my ambulance is broken'. There's practically no use for that phrase in real life, yet I know it...

Glass is so smooth and clear because when it cools and solidifies... it doesn't actually solidify or crystallize. 'Solid' glass is actually a viscous liquid, so a window fitted in a home will actually be wider at the bottom 20-or-what-have-you years after it is installed. Watched this on 'How Do They Do It?' all of 15 minutes ago.

I know the meaning of everything and the universe.

I know the USS Tennessee is slightly longer than the other boats in her class because of a misread in the ship's plans.

Whether a Duck Billed Platypus is male or female is, like humans, determined by if they have a Y chromosome or not. However rather than being expressed once, like in humans, they are expressed 10 times. So a male is XYXYXYXYXY, and a female is XXXXXXXXXX. Platypus are also one of only 2 mammals that lay eggs, the other being the Spiny Anteater (like Knuckles from Sonic th Hedgehog).

The relation between Gears of War, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.

Marcus Fenix's voice actor, John DiMaggio did the voice for Wakka in FFX. In the same game Yuna's actress is Hedy Bures who worked on Animatrix with Phil Lamarr, who did Vamp's voice in MGS.
John DiMaggio also worked in animatrix and Phil Lamarr did the voice for Samurai Jack.

Imdb can be fun sometimes if you have a looong time to waste.
If that's the same John DiMaggio that voiced Bender in Futurama you can make the connection between Gears of War and Buggs Bunny as Futurama voice artist Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg, practically everyone else) is the voice of Buggs Bunny; and since Buggs Bunny (Billy West) was in Space Jam you can connect Gears of War with Michael Jordan!

Here something disgusting.
A teratoma is a kind of tumor, The tissues of a teratoma, although normal in themselves, may be quite different from surrounding tissues, and may be highly disparate; teratomas have been reported to contain hair, teeth, bone and very rarely more complex organs such as eyeball, torso, and hands, feet, or other limbs. [Wikipedia]

Guess its not that useless if you're a doctor, but pretty disgusting.

The King of Useless Facts, Cliff Clavin, is not one of the original characters conceived for the show, Cheers. John Ratzenberger, trying out for Norm and then getting passed over, asked the casting director if there was a Bar Know-it-all, and followed with some improvised lines off the bat. Cliff Clavin was born.
