Water does NOT in fact conduct electricity but all the salts from your body do
Sorry to rain on your parade but even distilled de-ionised water will conduct, its just a very poor conductor compared to 'normal' water. The conduction mechanism in pure water is actually pretty interesting; conventional current is the flow of electrons, water conducts via a flow of protons in the opposite direction because of the unique way it hydrogen bonds!
Sorry, to not believe you but I'm gonna stick with my Chemistry teacher on that on. No offense to you, but having that teacher being one of the few I respect I owe her that much

The relation between Gears of War, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.

Marcus Fenix's voice actor, John DiMaggio did the voice for Wakka in FFX. In the same game Yuna's actress is Hedy Bures who worked on Animatrix with Phil Lamarr, who did Vamp's voice in MGS.
John DiMaggio also worked in animatrix and Phil Lamarr did the voice for Samurai Jack.

Imdb can be fun sometimes if you have a looong time to waste.

Perfectly acceptable. If I was a teacher I wouldn't tell a high school class something like that, its a bit high level for it. Anyway having just graduated from chemistry I'm at least as well informed as your teacher is.

There are more molecules in a grain of sand then there are grains of sand in the entire world.

In the movie "The Matrix" when Neo goes to the oracle you can see the camera in the reflection on the doorknob.

Dynamite was invented by accident, as was the vaccine and the popsicle.

If ants were human sized they wouldn't be able to support their own weight.

Cows are the only mammal in the world that are retromingent - i.e., they pee backwards.

Termites cause six times as much CO2 pollution as the entire world population of cattle.

MORE EDIT:

A day is almost always slightly less or more than 24 hours.

That's the first time I've ever been able to mention that on a website.

It's apricot with orange flavoring.

Jaffa won a legal case against British Customs over a disagreement that Jaffa Cakes were not in fact cakes, but instead chocolate-covered biscuits. This would have classified them as a luxury good, requiring Jaffa to pay extra in import/export fees. However, Jaffa proved otherwise by showing that the things go soft when stale, not hard like biscuits.
Wrong way round. Biscuits go soft when stale, cake goes hard.

Don't know if it's useless, but since I barely know anybody with the same music taste as me, nobody cares. I can list the name of every member in my favorite bands from the top of my head. Also, I know some meaningless stuff about them. Yea, I'm sort of a freaky fanboy.
