Youtube, but for a specific reason; I can tune out a lot of the horrible racism, sexism and middle school trolls simply because they are so cartoonishly over the top that it ceases to have impact.

My problem is the people who swamp every comment section with requests to view their videos or subscribe to their channels. No, I do not want to watch your Windows Media Player montages of MW3 gameplay set to some mediocre metal, and I don't need you to fill the comment sections of unrelated stuff like Epic Meal Time with requests to do so. That place needs some mods who will burn those a**hats to the ground for destroying any attempt to have a conversation on a popular video with their incessant badgering. It's like the beggars from Assassin's Creed, but I can't stab these people.

The worst part of Youtube for me are Youtube celebrities like Ray William Johnson, Nostalgia Critic, and Katers. Not to mention their horrible, horrible fans. But something that REALLY sticks in my craw are people who do shitty Blind Let's Plays.

Nostalgia critic isn't based on Youtube, other than that it is pretty terrible, especially iJustine. Plus nostalgia critic is pretty average and his fanbase pathetic in his own right.

I dont mind nostalga critic..but somtimes I feel he sumarises things to much rather than analising (which can make his vids boring) wich is much more interesting..he can aslo milk jokes just a "little" too much at times

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Flipnote Hatena yet. After one of the essential buttons on my DSi broke and before I lost it, I used it pretty much exclusively for Flipnote Hatena. It was a harrowing and unpleasant experience.

For one thing, the Flipnote Hatena infrastructure is structured so as to be hierarchical: it's always very obvious whose videos are the most popular. You will see popular flipnotes over and over, because the ability to "remix" other peoples' flipnotes causes them to be circulated and re-circulated endlessly.

Anyone who doesn't relentlessly steal the work of more talented individuals is usually still reprehensible. Many of the most popular but still poorly-animated flipnotes (i.e. the majority one is likely to see) contain the sort of inane, hamfisted socio-political messages that one would see on YouTube.

Star-beggars are the worst of the lot, of course. Stars are Hatena's "like" mechanic, and people tend to spend about as much time begging for them as you'd expect. Probably more than 90% of flipnotes will end with the phrase "Please Give Stars", or something similar. Except with at least one word misspelled, and the word "stars" replaced with a poorly drawn symbol representing a star. My point is, it's pathetic.

Much like YouTube, the majority of the content is dross. Indeed, it's very much like an even worse version of YouTube. The asinine, immature community? Hatena's is worse. The brain-melting saturation of dross? Hatena's is afflicted even more severely. There is almost nothing redeeming about Flipnote Hatena. Indeed, it's proof that the best way to make your online community a train wreck is to populate it mostly with children.

These were both already mentioned, but it has to be said again: the Blizzard and Valve forums. Never have I met a more self-entitled bunch of whiny babies, especially in the hype surrounding a game's future release. And it doesn't matter what game or what pricing model...

For example. So The Sacrifice DLC for L4D2 was supposed to arrive at some point at 10AM, and it arrived a few hours later. A few hours later, for a free piece of DLC. Those few hours were filled with so much rage it would have been enough to defeat the entire Nazi army in a day.

Youtube is a given. Half of the people commenting just want to throw in their own 2cents about the video, which is fine, I enjoyed that funny cat doing that funny thing too. Then you have: the people that post in an attempt to be "that guy" with the highest rated comment because that makes their epeen hard, the people that think arguing in youtube comments means anything, the people saying how much they hate the video and how they'd rather watch goatse (I assume they then open a page to goatse and beat off), and the ones I hate most, the people who will reply to your comment that you posted several years ago, and tell you how much you are wrong... I don't know about you, but I can't remember my opinion of a post I made a year ago... When I get a message from xXthEcoOlgUyXx saying how wrong I am for being an atheist, I first go "what the fuck?" then after spending a few minutes trying to find my message--would it really kill youtube to include your message when someone replies to it? its so hard to find what you said in the first place when there are 10,000 comments >.>--I either reply with "you're an idiot" or just ignore the guy. Worst part is, I KNOW that if I don't respond, they'll be "HA! I WON AN ARGUMENT ON THE INTERNET! I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF. TIME TO GO BEAT OFF TO GOATSE! YEAHHHHH!!!!"

Gamefaqs is like Escapist except it is only gaming topics, the mods drink turpentine and are blind, and no one has respect for any other person. Thats the best way I can sum it up. Just pretend that everything good about Escapist is gone, and you get Gamefaqs... I still have no idea why my friend uses it all the time... I've tried to convert him over to Escapist many times! =(

The only reason I still use Facebook, is to troll people. There is technically no moderation on Facebook besides IRL moderation, so you can troll the fuck out of people; and ohhhhh how they rage xD

I am still baffled at how 4chan has mods. I have been on some of the boards, and while some of them have some interesting discussions, most of the boards I see on 4chan are rampant unchecked trolling. Then suddenly a mod wakes up, starts banning people, people wait a few minutes, and then resume the flame wars. I really don't understand how 4chan works to this day =|

I'm sorry but I have to post again to say this: RP is a terrible community of haters and trolls. The guys behind it didn't "invent" LPs, people have been gaming with commentary since camcorders were invented.

RP has crapped on very popular and master LPers, too. Personally, I've never got to any of their own LPs, I quit when one RP told viewers to go manipulate comments on their target's video. It's amazing how much respect they maintain for being an insult to Let's Play. It says a lot more about RP that they go out of their way to crap on others' work than the "bad" LPers who mind their own business and earned their own subs.

If you don't like someone's video, there's a dislike button and comments. Don't like the person? Find another channel. Just like a forum, no one is forcing you to sit there and watch videos.

BTW: Nostalgia Critic has his *own* website and still has to put up with outsider hate/trolling. That's really scraping the bottom of the scum barrel there, and it's people that relish taking others down a few pegs that really makes the Internet a God-awful place. It's like ED.

I think I got the winning one right off the bat. The Pokemon Black/White GTS

I decided to Search for say a Mew. Everybody offering one asks for a Level 9 and under Zekrom or Rasheram.

Now I decided to try a Articuno. Same deal.

I do some more Legendaries. EVERYBODY WANTS LVL 9- ZEKROM/RASHIRAM.

Even over half of the trades for Non-ledgendary Pokemon are asking for the same bloody thing. Now the reason this is so retarded is that the only way a person can get one is by HACKING. And the GTS can detect hacked pokemon by KNOWING THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO OBTAIN OUT OF EVENTS. And Event pokemon are not allowed.

So I beilieve 95%+ of the 5th gen Pokemon GTS is Brain dead. A significant increase over the 50%-ish from Gen 4.

Anyways have you ever come across an onlie community so full of thick-headed idiots it used to be funny but now it is just sad?

People ask for impossible pokemon in order to pull of a number of GTS exploits including cloning and trade evolutions without needing to trade.
