I've had some good times with the original Halo for pc. Once I scored all three flags in battle creek without dying once. For those of you who don't know, Battle Creek CTF is a slaughterfest and there were many players.

I finished every quest in Arcanum. That was the most satisfying feeling ever. I hadn't felt that happy since I saw Metrocops for the first time.

It's too hard to pick just one, so I'll mention several:

- Getting 42 points as Engineer (26 of them kills,) on TF2. That was some awesome teamwork in that match; BLU barely got out of spawn.

- Gettting a kill-streak of 37 on Insurgency while holding one side of the map almost alone.
(how I love that L1A1...)

- Finally finishing a map on expert on L4D for the first time (No Mercy). The other people just left because we lost one time in the finale. I however, was determined to make it, and retried; and promptly made it with just bots as companions. I was cheering and dancing for a minute afterwards.

Completing Final Fantasy VII for the first time.

God I love that game.
...You find that satisfying? The end's all angsty.

I must say, though, that I can't recall a more satisfying time in gaming than when I beat Final Fantasy for the first time...
I never before let myself actually beat the game, since I usually hate something like that ending.
I did it on the Dawn of Souls remake, and had loved the game to death. I was accidentally level 94, and I'd done everything else in the game. So, I let it sit until I had that special clap-for-the-fairies mood, and beat it. No, not beat it, I finished it.
And it was like a fairytale.

Beating Persona 3 made me feel REALLY good for some reason, I didn't feel like "Finally it's over" but more like "Yes! I've done it! Saved the World Bitches!"

Finding something really sweet in a game that I didn't know existed. Such as...

Getting my first dismemberment in Dark Sector or CoD W@W. ("holy shit i just blew his fucking arm off!")
Using the triangle button after a grab in God of War. ("holy shit I just ripped him in half with my bare hands!") Or perhaps executing the digging enemies for the first time ("holy shit i just beat him to death with his own arm!")
Doing a non-stealth assassination in Assassin's Creed (any time).
Getting a sniper headshot in CoD.

My first one on one victory on Starcraft. First time I went on, after completing single player, and I was annihilated time and time again until I learned the new tactics and made a few of my own. I was happy.

Probably Revenge of Shinobi on the Genesis/Mega Drive, the ONE time I saved the girl and got the good ending. I thought the massive grin I had was gonna rip my head in two.

I beat Portal. Never actually beat a game before that. One small step for me, and even smalled step for gaming kind.

Oh, and beating someone at Tekken. I've NEVER been able to play that game, and I can barely get the character to punch, let alone win.

Oh, and successfully breeding a gold chocobo on my first go. I know I'll never be able to do it again, I know.

Defeating the Hydra in God of War. It was the first game I played through when I got back into gaming and I was having the worst time with the controller. I screamed with happiness when that b*tch went down. So awesome.

The first time I passed 'Green Grass and High Tides' on hard drums was my greatest Rock Band accomplishment, it was the fith-ish time I tried it and I was just elated.
It took me three days to beat that damned song on hard. Definitely an acheivement worthy of pride and praise!

As old fashioned as it sounds, I think the most enjoyable gaming accomplishment I achieved was beating the original sonic series for PC. ya know, when it didn't suck. I still need to find that game again.

The ending of Mass Effect. I finished it about a month after it came out, and this last weekend I gave it a replay. Still unbelievable as ever. And I was not aware until this time around how game-breakingly powerful a 1-2-3 punch of Lift, Warp, and Throw as a Nemesis Adept was.

Ah, jealousy at it's prime.
I gotta say... people get jealous of THAT?

Don't get me wrong, these games are fun, but that's "taking things too seriously" to a whole new extreme. Of course, the entirety of my online gaming experiences is a few weeks' worth of Team Fortress 2, so I guess I've yet to experience the seedy side of it.

After I beat the entire Final Fantasy VIII game on my own. That was the first game that I had done that with. Since then I've completed a countless number of games.
