What? The crazy conspiracy people got their facts wrong?
It's hard to believe, but it actually happens from time to time. I was surprised the first time I found out that too.

That the British government is secretly run by a race of hyperintelligent rats.
Then again, I did read it in a paranoid schizophrenics medical files.

Truthism [http://truthism.com/]. It's like some took a bunch of conspiracy theories, added some paranoia, sprinkled in some crazy and misogyny and baked it all up on a website.

Seriously the thing is so laughable I'm sure that it's just some troll-website.

I hope...
The best bit was when they started talking about "The Reptillians".

Human beings were created (that is, invented) via genetic experiments that were conducted by reptilian aliens. These reptilian aliens, also known as the "Anunnaki" or the "Reptilians," still rule the Earth to this day.

Oh, still haven`t heard one that beats 9/11 was an inside job...
There are simply too many facts that don't add up to this being as clear cut as was presented. Trades that earned major investors millions made just prior to the incident...and the Pentagon getting struck by a plane in particular just don't add up. There are a lot of theories out there that come off as far fetched, but the facts are certainly not what was commonly displayed on tv either.

As for the OP, I don't have one I specifically remember..but there have been documentaries covering people who believe aliens have implanted chips in major leaders in the world to create a given outcome...pretty much anything revolving around aliens wins the ridiculous award due to lack of evidence.

The fake moon landing conspiracy isn't strictly the most ridiculous out there, but I have to give it first place simply because huge amounts of people genuinely believe it despite every argument for it being disprovable with a basic combination of logic and general knowledge
That sums up my feelings about the moon hoax stuff exactly. Plus I can't help but rage a little every time I see it. (Personal favorite was being at the National Aeronautics and Space Museum in D.C. and actually hearing someone stand in the museum and talk about it. Asshat.)

The Obama birth certificate/secret Muslim stuff ranks high up there too, for the same reason that so many seem to buy it.

I think the British Royal Family secretly being lizard people takes the cake though. (I've also heard things about people like Kesha being lizard people too.)

There's a conspracy-theory that states that it dosen't exist nuclear weapons. It's just something the superpowers made up to stabilize the world and prevent fuure warfare after WW2.
...
The best part was that the closing statement was about how they didn't call it atombombs anymore, but nuclear missiles.

*facepalm*

I enjoy the 9/11 one, mainly because theres alot of interesting ideas to it. I remember watching a documentary on it, and alot of it made sense. Still, as mad and barbaric as the US government is, I just can't imagine them being able to organise an attack like that.

Correction: I can imagine them doing it, but I can't see how they'd be able to keep it (relatively) secret.

That, and the Moon-landing-being-fake one. Its so ridiculous. Theres a Mitchell and Webb sketch on it, basically saying that NASA would have had to have gone through making a working rocket, training the astronauts, firing the rocket into space etc. In which case, why wouldn't they just go through with it?

The stupidest one has to be that the nazis fled to the darkside of the moon, built a moonbase and are still up there now. Its so stupid it sounds like something a 5 year old child would make up and then be instantly ridiculed by his classmates for being STUPID STUPID DUMB DUMB. Flat earth is second. Fake moon landing ties with fake 911 for third in stupid stakes.

Another funny one is the Moon landing was done in a studio
Yup. The trails left by planes are actually chemicals/toxins...there is a global conspiracy to spray chemicals from planes because....because....well....you know! THE GOVERNMENT.

The best response to the moon landing hoax is still from the man himself, Buzz Aldrin:

The most single-minded idiotic and most ridiculous conspiracy theory I've ever heard is that the moon does not exist. I'm serious. There is a guy who can 'confidently assert' that the moon is just propaganda. Don't believe someone could be this stupid? Read this: http://www.revisionism.nl/Moon/The-Mad-Revisionist.htm

I don't know if this technically counts, but I once heard someone claim that Jesus was a vampire, and that it's the only way he could have come back from the dead.

They were not being facetious.

The world is run by the secret descendants of lizard aliens.

No, I didn't make this up. This is what people actually believe.

Ninjas. Damn.

Other than those, the moon landing being a hoax and Obama being Kenyan(not sure if that's considered a conspiracy theory) are pretty damn ridiculous.

The whole "government-trying-to-hide-aliens-from-us" thing is pretty dumb, too. Seriously, real life is not The X Files, people! Stop trying to act like Fox Mulder and start acting like Dana Scully!

I fully believe 9/11 was an inside job. America had the reasons to do it (Oil profits)
The profits from Oil were never, aren't and will never be enough to cover the costs of this war. Never.

High profile personnel often travels between the corporation's subsidiaries.

Haven't heard that one before. Either coincidence or the security member weren't staffed fully all of the time. Taking stabs in the dark honestly.

Arguable.

That the United States Central Intelligence Agency dosed American citizens with LSD without their knowledge or consent. Oh, wait, that's actually confirmed to be true (see MK-Ultra). Okay, how about doctors intentionally letting people with Syphilis die so they could study the progression of the disease? Oh, wait, that actually happened (see the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment). Or how about that "Area 51" place? That totally doesn't exist. Oh, wait, dry Groom Lake Air force base actually exists, and that's where they tested the U2, and other advanced aircraft. So, yeah, the truth is stranger than fiction.
