same here. i loved the assassins creed ending, sure you have to puzzle it out a bit but that works great to resolve this plotline while leaving connections for Assassins creed 2 (which looks amazing BTW).
Sorry, but Indigo Prophecy wins hands-down. You find out the old grandmother chick is actually an evil electrical embodiment of a computer AI and the leader of the Purple Machines, when this was never referenced AT ALL during the game. What made it even more confusing was that you had been fighting ancient Mayan hobos up til this point, so the random inclusion of an army of machines made absolutely no sense after the cat and mouse game between you and the detectives.
Actually, pretty much any scene after this point would win as well.
Guy has 5 people and four bullets, so kills his son and 3 other people(saves them a horrific death), then gets out the car so he can get eaten by the monsters. US Army then drives past in a convoy.
Personally, I saw the Assassin's Creed ending coming. "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal," indeed.
Gaming wise, I second the nod at Fallout 3. The ending came out of nowhere and was a very unsatisfying cap on a game that could have been so much better. But that ending completely destroyed it to shreds. It left me with no desire to play any of the DLC, even if they do RetCon everything...
Book wise, the first Sword of Truth novel, Wizard's First Rule:
Darken Rahl is Richard's father. Jeez, people, could we maybe come up with something Star Wars did not completely ruin for the rest of fantasy/SF media for generations to come? Am I the only one who's tired of the hero bearing some secret relation to the villain?
I really hate movies that use miracles as plot points, because it enforces the view that these four people are incredibly important and significant to the vast, infinite universe.
You know, I never really thought it was a twist, either. It makes sense, and doesn't really subvert anything that came before it. What do you call that? Continuation?
Not sure why everyone got mad about it, either.

Yeah, that was a pretty good one. My personal 'favorite' is the thing with Liquid's arm in Metal Gear Solid 2. I know, I know, they explain it in part 4. It however is just straight up dumb. I actually laughed out loud when Ocelot started talking in Liquid's voice. Anytime I start to like the series again, I hear Liquid's voice in my head saying "But I live on, through this arm!"

The plot twist in which one of your allies betrays you. These are usually the worst plot twists because it is painfully obvious that your ally was going to betray you.
Is it just me, or did every other line in that movie make it sound like a porno? I mean, it'd make sense, it has the shitty plot/acting.
If not, go watch it again while pretending it's a porno. Just pretend to be extremely dissapointed when it gets to the end and there was no nudity.
As for Assassin's Creed, I LOVED it, and it made perfect sense. And I'll say it- I LOVE CLIFFHANGERS, Assassin's Creed's included.
And for the most rediculous? I'd say Second Sight, but that's if I'm allowed to say rediculously good.
The visions of the past? They were the present. The parts of the game that seemed like present day were actually visions of the future. Damn, the game may have not been the most original, but it had a hell of a story.
They were. In the movie, angels, greek/pagan gods, demons, etc, are all the same thing, explained and interpreted differently in different cultures.
On a side note, real Judeo-Christian angels and saints serve a lot of the same functions that polytheist gods did in myths and rituals. They both have a hierarchy, but Christians are different in that they emphasize that angels/saint are definitely not gods. At all. Don't make that mistake.
