Fat Man and Little Boy were the most ridiculously overpowered and wrong weapons ever.
i believe that they were quit neccesery they bekieved that the japanese woild never give up and it would cost millions of american lives
Yeah... MILLIONS. Of course there's no sense taking a risky invasion when you could just murder 140,000 Japanese civilians in one action. I mean, they're not really people, are they? They're certainly not worth as much as Americans, God's chosen people.
If you want to debate about that, you should go to the thread with 22 pages of arguments and check out their arguments first.

On-topic: I would say the beefed up Gravity Gun in Half-Life 2. Instantly kills anyone.

FPS-wise, I might have to say the Injector from Timesplitters Future Perfect. It had quite a tasty rate of fire, and even being so much as tagged with the thing meant death within about 5 seconds as your body exploded.

Overall though, it has to be the Concrete Donkey from the Worms series. Not only does it cause massive amounts of damage in a wide area as it repeatedly falls on you, but then drills you into the sea for instant death, like so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUSr4GNHjNc&feature=related

Eh another one of these. Ok im going with the obvious duel Models because no one likes "that guy" who runs around like a prick thinking hes good. Thats why iv stopped playing that game and moved on to single player games for the most part.

The Combustion Hellfire in Borderlands. Its an SMG that instantly sets fire to the thing you shoot it at.
But it doesn't work against quite a few types of enemies.

OT: The Monster's homing missiles in the latest Borderlands DLC. Lock on and hold fire. Everything dies.
If not that, then my over 1000 (No modded) damage Pestilent Defiler should do the trick.(Search on Borderlands Wiki if you don't know) Works on everything else with my Hunter. Especially so when the DLC has Lance Pyros and Corrosives.

I'm going to say the double Tommy Guns in Timesplitters 2. There's nothing that won't fall under a barrage of those.
How about the double MINIGUNS in the original Timesplitters? There's no legion of zombies that won't fall under a barrage of those.
I'll see your double miniguns and raise you double-SBP90s.
Also, the PSi-amp from X-COM, you could beat the final mission, with one guy, in one turn with that thing.

The nuke in COD4 that killed that american soldier.

Or if that doesn't count, the MIRV from Fallout 3.
