A Kite, Hellsing Ultimate, Ninja Scroll OVA(Stoneskin Demon + toxic vaginal fluids= O_O), the aforementioned Shugurui(Ending = WTF?!), ElfenLied(the puppy scene), Black Lagoon to some extend but not too shocking and last but definatly not least Shadow(bathing in blood whilst laughing like a maniac)

I didn't care about the, they aren't related at all they are in-laws, please dont underestimate my reasoning. What i found "schocking" and "wrong" was the "private" study session Ako and that boy(forgot name) had because it was so awkward and funny at the same time, and thats just the Beginning! I have never seen an anime go that far, EVER, well except for Ladies Versus Butlers. But still Kissxsis is considered the most schocking for me.

Man, School Days wasn't shocking. It was just terrible.
I think the "shocking" ending was about the only part I liked. Because they all fucking died.

I don't watch a huge amount of anime, so this probably seems tame by comparison, but Neon Genesis Evangelion was always pretty shocking to me. It started out more or less as an affectionate parody of the "Giant Mecha" genre, but around the halfway point of the series, it suddenly got really, really dark and disturbing. It kept escalating until we got an ending that was incomprehensible, a movie remake of the ending that was basically violence and sex for the sake of violence and sex, and god knows how many other remakes, re-imaginings and alternate interpretations. A pretty shocking change, if you ask me.
Also, they aired a couple of episodes during Toonami back when they were doing Giant Robot Week. They were heavily edited, obviously, but the subject matter was still intensely disturbing, especially considering I was, like, ten or eleven at the time.
