For me it was Clannad: After Story.
The part where Nagisa died had me bawling for awhile, but when Ushio died I had to pause I was crying for so long. Man, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

Well, the series 8 finale of Scrubs, essentially the last episode of the show. The ending made me nearly break out into tears.

The ending of Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

I've never seen anything as sad in any media. That was a really emotional and immersive part, I almost looked away when... the person (for spoilers sake) told you to look away.

Pan's Labyrinth, the end makes me cry every time.
Real Time, I bawled uncontrollably at the end.

Yu Yu Hakusho, At the end of the third arc.
Full Metal Alchemist, "Huuuuughes!"

Shadow of the Colossus, "Aaaaagro!"
Half Life 2: Episode 2, "Vaaaance!"

Exactly! I cried during so many parts of that show, and I've never cried during any other TV show, movie, etc.

Loved every second of that anime, I definitely recommend watching it if anyone hasn't.

Goddammit, just as I clicked this thread I thought of that. Fine.

Mine may have been in the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.

When Kyon hands Yuki back her club application form. It's a huge shot to the heart, knowing that Kyon has rejected the world Yuki created, to go back to the original crazy world with Haruhi and the gang. Don't even get me started on seeing the emotionless girl shudder with sadness. DAMMIT KYON. Y U DO DIS.

I was watching Toy Story and Toy Story 2 with my nephew today, those movies came the closest to making me cry than anything. The nostalgia flood hit me like a truck.

*Spoiler alert!*

My most tear-jerking moment in a game has got to be one of the endings in Heavy Rain. It's called "Tears in the Rain." Probably the most tear-jerking because, well, just play the game. You'll know why.

Haven't played or seen Clannad, yet (managed to avoid the spoiler, thankfully).

For me, though, it was another Key work: <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.163769-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Kanon>Kanon. Specifically, one of the character's endings.

Makoto, when she dies. It took a few weeks in-game, while all the while you watch her slowly regress back to the mind of a fox, losing her taste for most food, forgetting how to hold things in her hands, lapses in memory and concentration, and finally losing her ability to speak, and on the hillside after you hold a mock wedding ceremony, trying desperately to keep her awake as long as you can by keeping her attention with bells, until finally she falls asleep...

...if you'll excuse me, I have to go wash my face.

I cry so hard everytime I see the Season 4 Episodes of Doctor Who, Turn Left and Journey's End.
And more recently, I cried at the ending of Vincent and the Doctor.

I was totally going to say Clannad or Clannad: After Story too. I mean, even from the very first arc in Clannad, where...
There's this really cute acting girl who secrets herself away carving starfish to promote her sister (the retired school teacher's) wedding, Fuko Ibuki. She becomes a close friend of Nagisa and Tomoya who coaches her to be more forward. She also is practically adopted by Nagisa's family. However, it turns out that she's actually a mysterious projection, she's really in a coma. People start forgetting her, being unable to see her anymore. Nagisa and Tomoya desperately try to remember her, but feel that it's starting to happen, so they throw her a bit of a party and fall asleep in a classroom with her between them. When they wake up, she's gone and they can't remember her anymore or why they were there. Later, they remember her again, right at the realization of her quest to promote her sister's wedding, and they're very sad as she fades away. Her sister is brought into the loop.
Suffice to say, that series is a major emotion bomb. I'm a 33 year old guy, I didn't actually break down bawling, but I definitely sniveled a bit and shed a few tears more than once.

The opening of Up.

Everyone I know cried. I barely ever cry, and I cried.
Didn't cry, but that was really sad, I really felt the old man's pain through the whole movie.

In Valkyria Chronicles,
after Isara suddenly got shot after Rosie finally JUST accepted her as a Darcsens. Then BAM! When she sang at Isara's tombstone...I just lost it.

Oh, and Agro from Shadow of the Colossus, was pretty heavy too...
