The finale to Toy Story 3. That is the only movie I've ever actually cried during.
The ending was amazing, and in that moment I felt like I had grown up with the series. As the tears ran down my face while the credits rolled up the screen, I was suddenly that same 6 year old kid sitting in the theatre when I saw the first Toy Story.
It was amazing, and I still get a little misty eyed watching it on DVD
I had tears rolling down my face, it was just a bitter sweet ending. Every time I watch it I realise that it's an end of an era, Woody, Buzz, Rex, Bullseye, Jesse, Ham, Slinky, Andy...and all the rest, they will always hold a special place in my heart
And the finale to Scrubs, the 8th Season finale...not the 9th Season, it doesn't exist.
But having J.D see his future was tear jerking, everything turned out to be okay
Mariko's death in Elfen Lied. I cried the first time I watched the series and then I cried when I watched the series again much later. I cried like a *****.
If you can dig visual novels, you can't really go wrong with Clannad. I only played a couple routes, though. I watched the anime more than played the game. They're both pretty good.
I played a flash game not too long ago called Shooter RPG: Starwish. Most of the endings made me tear, but one made be bawl my eyes out. It was insane. I didn't even have that strong of a reaction to MGS3 or a Bioware game.
Most emotional...hmm...tough call. There's a lot I've gotten misty eyed with, though I do remember a few things in particular that stay with me.
First off, Hiromu Arakawa...well, let's just say that it was a terrible day for rain when I saw a couple of her works
Specifically, that bit at the end when Ed's begging for his brother to be returned tends to get me.
Then of course the last bit of Toy Story 3...twice over actually. Once when it looked like Pixar might actually do a downer ending, and another time when it became clear they were using a bittersweet one instead.
And then there's Step 4 of the There She Is!! series. Given how lighthearted Steps 1-3 were, the cynical atmosphere of "Paradise" becomes borderline devastating, which of course makes Step 5 all the more satisfying.
It's been a while since I've seen it, but I do seem to remember Homeward Bound getting rather sad near the end, when it looks like Shadow might not make it back.
And then there's that little scene with Sam in I Am Legend...

Many manly tears were shed at the death of the 10th Doctor.
Of course, this particular character death has an added layer of tragedy to it. The Tenth Doctor was enormously popular (various polls indicate it's widely considered the best incarnation of the character), but that pales in comparision to the fact that the character's last words fit the actor so well. Tennant has stated that the very reason he became an actor was because he was such a fan of the Doctor Who series, playing the role of the Doctor was a childhood dream of his that actually came to fruition. It's tragic because those last words could not have been more tailor made for Tennant.
For me it's actually the moment right after, when he's alone with his grief; He sees his shadow and mistakes it for his mother. A little baby pterodactyl offers up his own berry to cheer Little Foot up (unsuccesfully). Little Foot seeking comfort in the footprint of one of his own kind.
This is why I never really found Bambi's mom's death that sad, because right after it happend his dad is there to pick him up. Little Foot on the other hand was completely alone without anyone to turn to.
There have been many manly tears shed over the years. Video games, books, movies, T.V. shows. I've been brought to tears many times, but nothing pulls them out of me faster than the ending to Kingdom Hearts 1. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfjvfQDEF7A] The whole game was literally building to this moment, and to have them be torn apart like that? And the music starts at just the perfect moment, it still affects me, even though I haven't played the game in years.
Also, and this surprised the fuck out of me, I just finished playing the ME3 demo, and the end of the first part of it was rather sad. The music in the game is fantastic.
