Thank you.
Man Wow and EVE were painful.

I personally enjoyed City of Villains/Heroes. At least the Bank Jobs were never boring.

I actually like LOTRO a lot. Community is friendly, and Turbine is one of my favorite MMO companies (mostly cause I started with Asheron's Call as my first MMO)

As for most tedious. Not counting free to play MMOs. That would definitely be Aion, that is latest I tried and sticks out in my mind the most.

Runescape. After playing WoW i realize how bad it was. While WoW has some boring spots the complete epicness of other more than makes up for it.

EVE Online was pretty boring, it was like Star Trek, only without the interesting Captain Picard bits... looked pretty though.

Kal Online. It's a Korean MMO and it was just pure grind with nothing else to really do.

The weekly guild PVP "Castle War" for control of a castle's flag lasted around 2-3 hours and if you weren't a high level it was a tedious respawn-die-repeat cycle.

The worst part was the quests, each one was an identical copy of any other. Talk to A, kill mob and get 'x' number of items, return to A and get your exp. The only things that ever changed was the monster to kill and the drop rate, which became SO low after level 50 it as easier to just buy them at a rediculous price from the quest farmers.

As much as I want to love it Final Fantasy XI. The only way to level was by griding mobs in the same area for a few hours, the interface was plain awkward, money was damn hard to make and quests are un-player friendly and just leave you to use the FFXI encyclopedia or running around for hours trying to find how/where to get a specific item. Which is a shame because I want to like it more than I like WoW but I just find it to be terrible, not even mentioning that yet to be beaten 30-odd hour boss encounter.

World of Warcraft.

I enjoy MMO's, I like the grind and I like the formula... but WoW just felt unimaginative, shallow and photocopied from other MMO's I had long since grown bored of, Namely Ultima Online and Everquest.

Nothing about WoW was vaguely original, even its setting is lifted from Warhammer Fantasy.

It's like a Tim Burton Movie, while the movie itself may be good you know its going to be composed by Danny Elfman, have Jonny Depp being weird and have some crazy fucked up disproportionate visuals. While that doesn't make a Tim Burton movie bad, after a little while they get a little stale and formulaic.

Ogame? does that count? I think it does.

Anyways it's basicly click this wait 2 days click something else wait 3 days click something else and wait 2 weeks etc.etc.etc.
I played Ogame with about 15 internet buddies and it was fun (more because of them than the game itself).

Anyway, back on topic, i gotta say Runescape.

I enjoyed CoH/V massively aswell, pity I haven't got around to renewing my subscription. But yeah, EVE and WoW were very painful to play.
