i'm probably gonna get heat for this but ... Aion ... epic grind fest that bored the hell out of me
My Asmo will crush you...

OT: I hate pretty much all of them, especially WoW and Runescape. You'd have more fun grinding your brain against a brick wall.

I tried the free trial for Eve online a long time ago. I fell asleep during the tutorial... so I'd have to say that is not only the most boring MMO I ever tried, but the most boring game I've ever played.

Only ever played Wow...for a month. Do they get more tedious and boring than that? Jesus.

Bring 10 scorpion tales. Next mission. 10 skulls. Next mission. Etc.
Worse than RPG level grinding if you ask me.

The only reason I ever played WoW was because my friend had set up a pirate server in his basement. We were playing on our little private server over which we had complete control.

It was really fun messing with the animals and watching a 100ft tall deer amble through woods.

I played mabinogi a while back. After three to four hours of questing and fighting mobs I figure that I should have enough gold to get some new gear. So I check out one of the shops. turns out that the cheapest item is a pair of sandals that have no bonuses or effects... My starting gear included boots that gave a +3 bonus to defence. The kicker? I couldn't afford them (the sandals that is). I promptly uninstalled the game.

I tried Maple Story for a day, I thought about suing to get my Saturday back. I've tried R.O.S.E. (Rush On Seven Episodes), and I didn't even last as long there as I did on Maple Story.

The only MMO that I played and didn't hate was the original Everquest (before they released the bajillion or so expansions). Back when 3D MMORPGs were new (late 90s) and there weren't as many "unpleasant people" playing.

Pretty much all free to plays like ROM and and shaiya. I liked AQW, it was funny and had some great ideas but the combat sucked and leveling was shamefully slow. Oh, wait thats right, then i found Allods online which was just getting started... That game changed my entire opinion of free mmos, that they can actually be really, really good...

Runescape.

This is coming from someone who played WoW.

Its just so boring, click to walk, click enemy once, click up loot, click to end you life.

Silkroad was my first taste of this, that was the game that won the top grinder award at the top grinders contest, celebrating the holiday of grinding whilst the cosmos was in the house of grind

All of them?

Need MMOs not based around grind grind and grind some more.
My sentiments exactly.

I've yet to meet a MMO that holds my interest for more than an hour. They are simply too repetitive, grindtastic, uninspiring and simply make me question the sanity of those willing to pay for that kind of gaming experience.

Perfect World. It wouldn't have been that bad if the community weren't a bunch of kill stealing whores.
