Man I love Serious Sam. Have you seen the new indie game? Serious Sam : The Random Encounter. Its a turned based rpg, gonna be like 5 bucks when it comes out. Look it up, looks pretty cool. (not made by croteam, but a serious sam game nonetheless)Pakkie said:CROTEAM, big time.
They are a tiny game dev company in Croatia who manage to create there own engine and make games that are throw backs to run n' gun shooters - the creators of serious sam.
Pleeeeaaaase buy SS3, they really deserve the support... Its basically what duke should have been, but better in my opinion.
It actually sold 700,000 copies. Thats not a massive flop, sure it didn't reach a million, but 700,000 is damn good.Octogunspunk said:I had to google that one.
I've not played any of Ninja Theory's games, but Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was apparently a massive flop despite great reviews. It's a shame.
I said that because it made several lists of "good games you didn't buy".inFAMOUSCowZ said:It actually sold 700,000 copies. Thats not a massive flop, sure it didn't reach a million, but 700,000 is damn good.Octogunspunk said:I had to google that one.

Damn, beat me to it. It's a shame about Starbreeze because Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena were both really good and were critically well received, but they didn't seem to catch on very much.kman123 said:Starbreeze and Remedy are two LESSER known studios, despite relative mainstream success, and they're two of my favorite studios. Starbreeze is responsible for the Darkness, a game with absolutely bland gameplay but phenomenal storyteling, and Remedy has done Max Payne and Alan Wake.
lols, but i can say odisdan however its spelled, they makes games with great stories, there just buggy as heck.Octogunspunk said:How fitting that this thread should face the same fate as its subject.
I loved Metal Arms! How is it Blizzard's fault that there won't be a sequel, though? (He asked sincerely).JemothSkarii said:Swingin' Ape Studios anyone? They made a game called Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. One of the best Third Person Shooters I've played, like a more 'mature' version of Ratchet and Clank.
F*** You Blizzard, now the sequel will never come to be.
Blizzard bought out Swingin' Ape Studios and dissolved the team into different teams...so there won't be any chance of a sequel.targren said:I loved Metal Arms!
