Gojira.

I think Soundgarden is an underrated band too, as in, not enough people know about them, they were great.
A lot of people dis Slipknot too, I don't know why, Mick Thompson is awesome and Joey Jordinson is amazing

How can you say metallica is underrated.. they had one of the biggest tours of last year and were just inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame?
He was implying they're not a pile of crap since the black album, which they definitely are.

As for my most underrated, I'd say Annihilator. Canadian thrash metal ? yes it does exist and it rules - Dave Mustaine invited frontman Jeff Waters to join Megadeth in the late 80s but Jeff stayed to work on Annihilator which was starting to take off. Waters is a kickass guitarist and the band doesn't get the attention they deserve.
NEw album is the best since the balck album.. maybe justice.. I agree all others are crap. They used to be gods now they are meh. Just saw their last tour actually very suprised how good they were. First time i ever saw them live. When i was really into them back in the day i was too young ..and during my going to shows all the time days i had no interest in the garbage they were realeasing. Anywho..

Get out.

Just kidding, but they became alternative, maybe hard rock. Nothing close to metal.

Anyway, returning to topic: Dream Theater for sure, Dillinger Escape Plan, Fall of Troy, Number Twelve Looks Like You, Between the Buried and Me, Protest the Hero, The Human Abstract. All great bands, but all underground.
