I have been, for quite sometime, been wandering furiously waiting for a decent forum, so i think i have found the worst. Thus far, however, this seems to be the best.
Without further ado..here are the winners....

3) any warcraft website or most realms of the game in general. seriously. between the non-existent customer service, and the pock-marked key-binding macro'd donkey dancers you are either in or out. if you are in, then you probably arent reading this.
2) the wizards of the coast magic forum. it's like being told by mathematician that you don't add up to much..and they actually brought the data to prove it.
and the grand-daddy of them all.....
1) XBOX LIVE
i seem to have revolved to fps as of late. i blame the game industry really. i have a love affair with psychological horror. and as with all love affairs, one of us stopped caring (wasnt me). the last game i played that made me jump a little was Condemned. It was actually pee-a-little, turn on the lights and walk around for a second, creepy. BUT.... if i fell in love somewhere around silent hill, and i got a "dear john" from psych-horror around condemned, that left me with the fps. MW2 is, in fact, Condemned played with bigger weapons against different monsters with no actually story line. the problem is that if you take the three types of people that evolved to the fps (being people that are waiting for something to come along that hasnt gotten here yet, people that actually like the action of the fps, and people that get to shoot someone in the face without going to prison) ONE of the groups are just a little bit louder, and a little bit sssllooower than the other two. in other words.....

ask a dumb question somewhere near warcraft and you get mocked.

go to the WOTC site and ask something and they will explain to you, in detail, why you either will never end up with a person in which to have relations, or why you are the anomaly and they are working on it and will get back to you

but..i have NEVER..in SIX years of playing any game on XBOX LIVE gone an hour in a row without actually hearing a ten year old call me a "******" or "******". to be quite honest, between the last three call of duties i am POSITIVE that 90% of all people on XBL with mics that actually speak are racist morons. (or really young OBVIOUSLY white kids that need to rap in their mic...THAT is irony)

Now, as far as know, very few communities are as bad as the Star Craft community. Sure, there are alot of helpful people, but the instant you form an opinion about which race you prefer to use, be prepared to get the flaming of your life.

Huh, that's weird. I've been actively noobing the shit out of TF2 since I got it a week ago and I've only been called out on it once. And I was being completely retarded at the time.

Maybe I just have badluck with servers. I constantly get criticized though when i'm on there. I'm not super great but i'm not that awful either. It kills my experience though when I have to play with that crowd. (too serious I guess would sum them up, the people I meet.)

Generaly, It depend's on what server you play.

I'll be the first to admit that I can rage and ***** people out, but generaly I've found the community generaly friendly.

Really, if your playing in a decent game, just tell them that your new, if there cool, they'll probably let up and try to be helpful.

If not, then they're just douchbag's who belive that since there good at something made of of computer program's and pixles that they have the right to pretend to be better then everybody.

I've played on xbox live in alot of these games( no played a C.O.D online) and I don't see dickheads to be that big a probelm, not enough to effect my enjoyment of the game anyway. Maybe it cos I dont play on a high enough level or maybe probelm is more prevalent i the U.S.

I hear in Halo:Reach you get the ability to customise the online interaction settings so you can choose what type of people you pplay with. I doubt it will work though because assholes won't choose to play other assholes because they get their kick from annoying the 'normals'.
