After reading through the post i got to say that CoD4 was really bad (spawncampers delight)
Allso the comunity of EvE online is somewhat lacking. There are 40% of the players who only play the game to ruin it for someone else (for those who played it... ''suicide ganking'')
I still have to stick to youtube as an god awfull place to talk to anyone. And i withdraw my previous comment about p2p (it's not their fault for not understanding everything)

Borderlands! I signed onto the forums. Asked a few questions and the "OMG you a lozzer for not knowing everything about a game that's not even out yet! lulz!" responses I got were shocking. Even the freakin moderator was a troll. I never bought the game simply because I didn't want any part of a community like that.
And, honestly, this right here is the best online community I've ever come across. Thanks to our mods and their very liberal use of the ban hammer.

I am going to be the ass to say it... This one does it for me. Because from time to time you guys WILL try to burn me for any reason be it that this community I beleived (sorry for the misspelling) was made to express opinions and share thoughts yet I can't do that.

CoD, Halo, maybe 4chan if you're stupid enough to provoke them. In all honesty, /b/tards just like having fun, so if you do something stupid, they will laugh at it.
Modern Warfare 2- No more dedicated servers means you're all but anonymous. The things that blocked noob tube spam and other minimal skill kill kits are gone. Doesn't help that the guns are horridly balanced.
Fan Sites- Sonic's probably the worst both in terms of blind devotion and "wtf?" factor.
Furry website- see above. Its a fan site at heart, even if they claim its not.
4chan- You can't not mention it. It's a far cry from the hate machine it was when it first hit the web but there's still enough newfags (that's their term by the way) running around in there to make the gears turn.
Facebook- Its the internet, just with your friends, and you get to see far more than you ever wanted to know. Women become whores. Men become fucktards. There's a good reason I'm dead opposed to ever actually using my facebook.
HoN / LoL / DOTA- I made it a point of order to troll teams who'd try to ***** at me any game. Sad thing was that it was almost every single game. Nothing quite says, "I love you." like clogging the voice chat with foreign languages (I think it was Spanish or Portuguese) and then taking the opportunity to ***** at people in English to let them know they screwed up.
WoW- having played it since near-release I can say the community's gone pretty far down hill and Blizzard's only demonstrated that they don't understand their community at all with doozies like the cross-server dungeon system. Four years ago you'd never hear a verbal complaint about low DPS so long as they were doing their jobs but just last month I had a druid try to force (IE: He was healing, and refused to continue) me out of a group because my fresh-to-80 wasn't min / maxing to do "good" DPS.

Dota, Vampirism (WC3 in general), Starcraft. Pretty much all the older games that are still going, as people are expected to have around 5 years of experience. I think a lot of players don't expect new people to buy it as it's so old and so expect everyone they see online to have a lot of experience. When they don't, they get annoyed.
